Well this is an update from my previous review. Ordered chicken parmigiana because my previous order of this dish was excellent. When I got home the chicken cutlets were way over done just about burnt. Pasta tasted old and previous sauce was much better. This a similar to a pizzeria that I used to frequent in Bowie MD called Lidos Pizza. Thin crust and cut into little squares. It's tasty and the ingredients are good. I prefer more traditional Neapolitan or Sicilian styles. Parking is very limited and you must be careful not to hit or get hit from the drive through taco shop on the rt as you enter parking lot. Being Nation Pizza Day we ordered our normal pick 4 which consisted of, Italian sausage, onions, ricotta, & spinach. That is our specialty that we order and it's always good, but tonight for some reason it was so darn delicious. My daughter has been bugging me to get this pizza because she tried it one night of her friends. I'm not a huge pizza fan at all. My favorite pizza is Grimaldi's. I'm from Indiana so we used to go to Chicago a lot like a good pizza if I have some I love the thin crust pizza we got today. I think I paid like $30 for an 18 inch humongous. Wish this review was better, but I am willing to try Rosati's again, being that it is so close to our house. We haven't eaten here for many years, and recently ordered delivery from their website for the NFL draft day. My husband ordered food, 4-hours in advance, so that the pizza would arrive around the same time the draft aired on TV. And the delivery was late from their website's quoted time. The driver apologized & told us that they were short-staffed. After the late delivery, we were eager to "revisit" the food, which included cracker thin crust pizza with Italian beef toppings. We also tried the fried ravioli & mozzarella sticks. The pizza's outer crust was overdone, while the inner pieces (square cut) were underdone. The cheese & the toppings tasted good. The ravioli was also a bit overdone, on the verge of being burnt. The filling inside the ravioli was tasty. I only ate one mozzarella stick since it was too salty for me. Soggy crust again, a lack of ingredients and flavorless sauce. Makes me very sad to see one of my home time favorites so bad.

As a native Chicagoan who understands our city's "pizza" isn't deep dish (that's for the tourists), but "tavern style," which is the thin crust, crispy deliciousness. Whether it's Roseangela's or Vito & Nick's, Phil's or Pat's, I have consumed just about every iteration and it's unmistakably good. That said, this is Vegas, and true tavern style is hard to come by. We have really two authentic choices here in town: Giordano's or Rosati's, both chain pizzerias from back home, where they aren't elite but convenient. In Vegas, they serve the same role. Sure there is Windy City Pizza and Amore, but topping the list of "convenience out west" is Rosati's (when it comes to tavern style). I went delivery after watching the first day of Cubs and White Sox Spring Training games with my Pinwheels & Ivy Podcast co-hosts then, because we talked enough about it, I had to order myself an XL tavern style with Italian sausage and green peppers, well done. Nothing less, nothing more. The crust was crispy, especially the coveted baby triangles that everyone fights for that have started many a family conflict over my lifetime. Sauce was aplenty, and had that familiar flavor. Rosati's sauce is consistent, if anything. The sausage wasn't too large or small, and paired perfectly with the sweetness of the green peppers. This is close to a taste of home as I can find here in town. Yes, ordering Rosati's back home with all the other top-tier tavern style choices will get you mocked but this is Las Vegas and something is better than nothing. The consistency of Rosati's as a chain plays well here in Vegas. If I have to choose between Rosati's and Giordano's, I'll always go Rosati's for tavern and, every six months or so, I'll order a sausage deep dish from Giordano's. Side note, while I didn't order it this time, Rosati's has a solid tiramisu and their Italian beef sandwiches are okay. I tend to his Windy City Beef & Dogs if I need a beef, although we need a darn Portillo's here. Dallas even just got one, along with Arizona and SoCal. It's our turn! To sum up, if you're looking for an adequate and authentic tavern style in Vegas, I'd recommend Rosati's above all. Then again, I'm always open to suggestions to try (and, yes, I've had Pizza Rock's attempt and the crust is too thin). Feel free to suggest others. Not good. They first messed up my order .. I ordered a large pizza 1\2 one way 1/2 another, All wrong . I call and they tell me we will bring a new one but will need to pick up the other. OK so now half of my family whose pizza was right has to wait for the new one to eat. I was willing to wait as it was not how I ordered it. They should have told me to keep it and brought me a smaller one the way it was suppose to be On half. This way not all had to suffer the mistake. 45 min later they bring the new pick up the other that I'm sure was going to be thrown out. What else could they do with it? Box was wet on the bottom from sitting. New pizza was ok but this time they had portions not cut all the way thru. What a mess. Had to take it out of the box so I could use my pizza cutter to cut. Father's Day dinner! The menu is great and the servings are huge! We ordered 2 pizzas, wings, garlic breadsticks and salad to feed 14. It was so much food! The pizza is thin, and the crust is crispy! The wings were flavored well (we got mild) and the salad was delish! The garlic breadsticks were really good! The kids couldn't get enough of them! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. If I can leave no star I would. I have been coming here for years. They are doing a deal on 10/15 for appreciate day with 1964 pricing. I went to order in the afternoon on a Tuesday and they tell me that they have ran out of Ingredients for the 14in pizza but were happy to place an order at full price for another size pizza. I didn't know different size pizzas had different Ingredients. This is not a big deal as it was a promotion but what I don't appreciate is that corporate set out to do a deal that this location refused to follow. That's bad business and as a business owner I don't like. They are clearly not following company guidelines and decided to ignore the deal that was dealt by corporate. We ordered Rosati's for a group of 4 the other night and it was the perfect meal. We ordered a large pizza with olives and pepperoni, a Caesar salad, and mild chicken wings. Perfect pizza for the price! The pizza is cut into squares so there was plenty of crust slices and crustless slices. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese and was cooked perfectly. The pizza was a hit, everyone loved it! Everyone was also a huge fan of the wings, they weren't too spicy and were full of flavor. We've had pizza from this place, in the past, but it was from the Henderson location (my FIL introduced us to their deep dish pizza- dang it is very heavy- I can only handle a single slice, along with a side serving of salad). We had a birthday promotion to use last month- free thin crust cheese pizza (cut into squares) with any minimum purchase of $15.00, so we also got an order of chicken fingers, came with the- creamiest- ever- Ranch dressing (I suspect it was buttermilk, because it was really good) (*I think that there were five to this appetizer order*) and a calzone, which came with dipping sauce (canadian bacon + ricotta- it is $7 for the calzone and a $1.00 for each topping). My favorite was the calzone, so glad that we had leftovers to enjoy, too. There was a communication hurdle because the person on the other end of the line wasn't quite well-versed, but when the lady was put on the line, all was good. ((*The promotion code is not near the name of the restaurant but in another spot of the printed email, FYI.*)) Everything was yummy. The thin crust pizza was flavorful (*I guess, we were surprised because this one specializes in deep dish pizza*); I usually add red pepper for an extra little kick. The chicken tenders were not heavily breaded (lots of restaurants miss the mark on this simple item, but that was not the case here). Our picky eater loves pizza and chicken; if he doesn't eat it, that means, he does not like it. He ate it, if you are wondering, hahaha. Not a sit-down restaurant, does takeout and delivery. I finally have had a taste of what Rosati's has to offer. We placed our order for a small 12' deep dish Chicago style meat combo pizza $16.50 and an appetizer of (12) buffalo style wings $8.99. They give you a complimentary order of bread sticks which would have been delicious had they been cooked more. They were greasy soggy and under cooked otherwise it would have been a nice bread basket as the marinara sauce was tasty. Our small 12' deep dish pizza took one hour to cook, that would have been nice to have been told in advance while placing our order. We missed our movie because of the long wait. We ate our wings and after the hour wait for our pizza just requested they box it up to go. The service was super friendly however they would not accept our coupon for a bogo offer they have in the entertainment guide. :( The buffalo style wings were very big meaty and good. I have tried Rosati's twice now and I will admit they aren't bad at all. Me and my family would purchase the Chicago Deep Dish Style Pizza. Overall the quality isn't bad period and we always get it well done or extra cooked. I have not tried there wings or other items as I normally never wanted to try anything else as we do our own wings, so I cannot comment on the other items. But, so far the taste, the smell, the quality all seemed perfectly fine to us. We bought one with pepperoni, sausage, and beef, we also had one with extra cheese, basil, pepperoni, bacon, and sausage and it was great. So far we order from here and another Pizzeria that doesn't do Deep Dish, but has good pizza as well. We plan on returning again and getting the Deep Dish which I would definitely suggest to anyone to try and make sure to get it extra cooked. read more

Crust is a little crackery, which needs getting a little used to if you didn't grow up eating it, but I don't live in Chicago anymore, so this is exactly what I was looking for.
