Overall, I had a good experience at Rosehill Hand Car Wash. They did a great job on both the interior and exterior, and my car came out looking clean and refreshed. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and you can tell they put effort into the detailing. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I went there expecting a completely hand-washed experience. While they do hand-finish the car, it still goes through an automatic drive-through system, which can leave tiny scratches or swirl marks over time. For most people, this probably won't be a big issue, but if you're someone who is particular about your paint or specifically looking for a true touchless or fully hand-washed service, it's something to be aware of. That being said, they did a solid job overall, and I was happy with how clean the car looked inside and out. Just wish it was a genuinely 100% hand-wash operation as the name might suggest. The guy at the front of the line was weird and was pushy with the membership even after I told him I live far away. I paid $60 for the exterior and interior wash plus tip which they ask for at the beginning on the iPad. The exterior was only as clean as if I had gone to a regular drive through car wash. No special care taken to clean off the few specks of sap or bugs. The floor mats were drenched. The dashboard was literally dirtier than when it went in because there was plant material, lint, and dog hair all over (I don't own a dog). They missed swaths of the front windshield and they didn't clean the back window at all. It smelled like wet dog inside. The cafe area for waiting was freezing cold and the cafe was closed at 8am. Today was my last visit. Prices have gone up (fine it happens) quality and service are down. Today I told the guy what wash I wanted after he pitched the membership and I already said no thank you. When I told him what wash I wanted he replied "no no no you want the membership" Not in a friendly way, in a pushy way. The car wash is no longer apart of a gas station! They have completely remodeled. The people working the car wash are pleasant. The cute little waiting area/cafe was unexpected and made waiting for my car more enjoyable. The only 2 things that need improving: play music softy in the cafe. It would make it more enjoyable and inviting. Secondly I do not like that they ask if I want to leave a tip before the car is done. I am use to giving a cash tip which no longer seemed to be an option. I unfortunately tipped less than usual since I was forced to do it with my payment. My car came out perfectly clean and smelling great! Beware if you tell them you want a scent make sure you tell them a light scent! They now use the credit card device which allows you to tip in advance which I prefer to wait until I see how tipple a job they do. This place does not do a full detail. That said I used to be really happy with what I got for the cost. But today, I paid $80 (including tip) for the Interior Clean + which comes with an exterior car wash. Somehow after the car wash there was a sticky goo on my rear window. There was also dirty water puddles on my rear seats. And while I did not expect them to clean denim stains off the driver seat, Rose Hill managed to smear the blue all over the seat to make it look worse. Last of all, after I got my car back - I couldn't find my keys. Finally found them under the passenger seat. If one of the above things happened, I'd chalk it up to a mistake. As someone who understands what a full service car wash is supposed to be, this is exactly what I expected. These types of car washes are common on the east coast, but this is the last one that I am aware of in the Greater Seattle area. They did a great job, my car is super clean and the whole thing took about 25-30 minutes, no appointment necessary. This is not a detail shop, but it is also not $250 it is $17 - $40 depending on the service level you want. No one asked me for a tip, but it is customary to tip the guys who are spending a fair amount of time cleaning your car, so I did give them a cash tip when they were done. read more

The newest thing is extra charge to vacuum your mats. Mine are carpet so I guess if you don't pay the extra $40 they just bypass them and then another $10 for wiping the seats. Look at how it looks ... missed the entire sunroof (which takes up nearly the entire roof of my car, dirty water on windows and missed the back window. $26 and they either missed entire sections or the water was so dirty they left my windows dirtier than when I brought it in. Sadly, the Rose Hill Car Wash has gone down hill since the sale. Yes payment has improved. But should I go back, I will never tip in advance again. Service was terrible. I paid for works plus. The exterior of the vehicle was left dirty. If I wanted a hose down, I could go to so many other car washes and have paid less. I am not expecting my car to be detailed but for the Works Plus I expect my car to be vacuumed after I watch as your crew vacuumed the car in front of me for 10 minutes. Why did you make me wait an hour to cream the inside of my vehicle if the front window is still dirty? I watched 6 vehicles that came off after me finished before mine including a heavy duty full cab truck. I also paid $10 extra to wash my floor mats but they are still dirty. Even worse after being told my car was ready my floor mats were not in my car. I had to find them and then was told by your crew to put them back in myself. If this was one off okay. We've driven by Rose Hill Car Wash at least a dozen times and decided on a summer day that we'd join the queue and get our car cleaned up. I won't make this overly wordy, but honestly, this wasn't worth even a quarter of the cost they charged. They offer packages for exterior and interior cleaning, but I've never seen such a haphazard, lazy job, on top of the fact they asked for us to tip BEFORE we even got out of the car to send it through the wash. I don't know how they get away with charging such insane prices, but I was willing to give them a chance based on the number of people. I should have listened to all the reviews. There were spots all along the sides/edges of your car that were still dirty. For $40+, that shouldn't be the case at all. You'd have better luck taking your car to a self service and spending a few minutes there. You'll spend 1/4 of the cost, if not less, and probably be happier with the outcome. It pains me to rate a business so low, but our experience was so poor, it's a shock how much they try to charge and upsell for here. read more
