Rifle Funeral Home - WWII veteran

I stumbled upon this beautiful, well manicured cemetery on a recent road trip to Colorado…read more Instrumental trans-communication (ITC) research is a passion of mine, so I decided to conduct a two-hour spirit box session. The session began slowly with only a few random discernible words and phrases, but I began receiving numerous intelligent replies after approximately thirty minutes of ingratiating myself. As I approached a section reserved for veterans, my Spiritus app began spurting out words related to war. My EMF detector spiked as I knelt to read the tombstones belonging to Andrew Michelsen and Nolan Booth, both WWII veterans. The words "war" and "Germany" came through clearly. I thanked the spirits for their service and moved on. I happened upon a grave belonging to Ralph and Faith Vaughan, who passed away within a month of each other. I commented on their passing and heard, "Couldn't wait longer." I interpreted this as Mr. Vaughan explaining that he felt a need to join his wife after she passed away. The spirits of children are often the most vocal, so I was not surprised to interact with Nicholas Jones, who passed away in 2003 at the age of 13. Before I could make out the details of his tombstone, I asked, "Nick, what was your favorite hobby?" The reply "football" was unmistakable. I examined his epitaph and saw that it included a picture of him in a football jersey. ITC practitioners speculate that spirits tend to "move on" over time, so the older sections of the cemetery (i.e., those more than a century old) were predictably quiet. The newer plots, however, were rife with spirits eager to share their life experiences. If you are interested in this work, consider spending an afternoon at this gorgeous cemetery.

I highly recommend Martin Mortuary. They have been servicing my family for generations. My mother…read morerecently passed. We live in Denver but she was born in Grand Junction and wanted to be buried near her parents here. Although that could have complicated the process, the staff at Martin saw to it that all details were worked out in a timely fashion. Starting with Faith, who did a professional job prior to my mother's death working thru the original cemetery contract that was many years old and then preparing the current contract for us. Faith was kind and professional even though we were across the state, we had confidence that all the details would be taken care of and they were. Bree at the Mortuary was also professional and sensitive regarding details after my mother passed on Mother's Day. She helped with the transport of the body across the state and preparing the body for burial. She worked closely with us on the obituary and the memorial service folders, Bree made sure all of our requests were met. Martin staff did an excellent job during a most difficult time. Thank you!
