HORRIBLE! My daughter came here with a friend to get her nails done for a dance. Not only did it take more than 4 hours for a pedicure and full set, her nails were garbage. The technician should have said she doesn't do nail art and left it at that. Instead she was rude and her nail art was a complete disaster. I cannot believe they charged $100 for this garage! The nail's themselves were uneven and looked grown out, lumpy and bumpy. We took them off that night. I seriously can't believe they charged for this and let someone walk out of their shop like that. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE. HANDS DOWN THE WORST AND SMALLEST NAIL SHOP EVER!! I will never come here again. I came in for a fill and the lady ended up removing some of my tips and instead of replacing them she just put acrylic over my nails. Then she filled them extremely shorter than I asked in order to even my natural nail with the tip nails. They still weren't even the same length after all that. Then when I noticed and said something I was told I would be charged to fix her mess up. I would have to pay for the acrylic to be removed and tips added to get sone length back. So freaking unprofessional and rude all I kept getting was shoulder shrugs. Never again. I ended up walking out with just freaking acrylic on my nails. And with just that they tried to charge me $15 damn dollars. If I could give it no stars I would but here we are. No appointment, had to wait no issue! Understandable I'm a walk in. I didn't wait long which was nice. Pedicure starts, the guy starts cutting my nails and I tell him not too short. Then he starts cutting too short, starts cutting the side, at one point he digs and I said that hurts but he continues. I tell him it actually hurts. He sprays alcohol on my toe. I didn't want to get that foot wet after he jabbed it. But he pushed my foot in. He goes for a second time to clean up the cuticle, but my left toe he continues to try and clean up. Not even 12 hours later, my left big toe is swelling, it's red, it's painful. I've never had an issue anywhere else I've gone. And yeah I'm gonna post my toes because I'm pissed. It's a brewing infection. read more

I tried Rose Nails today. I got their $25 pedicure which I really enjoyed. She tended to my toe clippings, cuticles and what not. She exfoliated and scrubbed using a pumice stone and a scrub. Then hot wax and hot towels. Oh and a massage. I got standard polish. I had Kim do my fill. I was a little disappointed because she told me she doesn't do ombré so I had to settle for the classic French with gel polish. Along the way she asked me if I liked my nails or what needed to be fixed, which I liked because I'm super picky or just super ocd. My nails turned out nice, the gel is a little thicker on certain nails but it's not visibly noticeable. I also had mine shortened and needed a new nail. I'm not chatty so I didn't mind that she didn't make conversation. My nails were $28, I can't complain with what I received. Most of them don't speak great English so there is a Huge language barrier so the one who does speak English better tries to help out those who don't. It's a very small nail salon with 5 pedi chairs possibly and 5 nail chairs. So I recommend making an appt. I wouldn't recommend going there if you're looking for anything modern. read more

N here we are two weeks later and I have to take the whole nail off instead of a fill becuz it was such a shitty job, I find that my nails were gorilla glued on and it broke off all my natural nail! My friend had a bad ingrown toenail that the lady took out successfully! For me, I normally don't like getting my cuticles cut but the young lady helping me was pretty gentle. Can't believe this place isn't reviewed yet since it seems like they have a steady stream of business whenever I pass it on my way to Lollicup. Rose Nails has a variety of services: facials, waxing, acrylic, pedicure, manicure, gel, nail chairs, nail designs, and china silk wrap. I loved how they could fit me in and I didn't even need a appointment. But I recommend calling ahead before just to make sure. Here's where the minus stars come in. It isn't the cleanest nail salon because they reuse nail files and buffers. But I did see them wash the tubs for the spa pedicure so that's good at least. Also, they didn't soak my nails beforehand or trim off the dead skin and my edges were kinda rough after filing :( But the process only took about 10-15 minutes and only cost me $7 + tip! So, I can't really complain too much because she did a decent job on the painting. I also like how it's not too busy because you can just sit in front of the fan and wait for your nails to dry without feeling rushed to leave. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the Stockton area! I was in the area for 3 weeks for work and had my nails done twice here and neither time disappointed. I went in today, and debated whether I was going to stay or not, because I saw how busy they were. I was a walk in, and I'm glad I stayed. I was okay with the wait, I had just decided that since I finally had a few hours, I was going to treat myself to a simple pedicure and a full set. I started by asking if they had time, and I wouldn't have been upset if they said no. I was told there was a wait, and I was fine with that. One of their technicians walked in with supplies, and then began on the pedicure after one of the ladies had seated me to soak my feet. D was extremely gentle, courteous, and nice. Silence wasn't awkward at all. He made sure throughout that I was getting exactly what I wanted, and made sure to help me get my sandals back on to ensure I didn't smudge my freshly painted toes.
