She was professional, responsive, and attentive to our needs, and the photos were exactly what I was hoping for -- great quality, and many candid "in the moment shots." She and her team had a wonderful knack for capturing unusual angles or unique aspects of the wedding -- the shadows of people dancing as seen through the tent wall, for example. She also provided an engagement wedding shoot for free -- a wonderful and fun experience, and I got some of my favorite photos from that. I got married last September at Catlin Gardens and Rose was my photographer. I live in the NYC and Rose came in to take our engagement pictures at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. Fun to work with, good sense of humor. Consulted with us enough on what we wanted to capture that we felt like it was personalized, but didn't go overboard which gave me confidence she knew what would look best. The image quality is perfect, photos came out amazing. High clarity, lighting in the photos was perfect. Took a large amount of photos which was a key factor in my happiness with using Rose. I wanted to make sure we got the best bang for our dollars and we certainly did. I recommend Rose, stop the search and pull the trigger. It will be one of the best moves you make. Rose was a pleasure with work with from start to finish. Since we were planning our wedding from a different state (WV), we wanted to make sure that our photographer was familiar with Block Island, RI. Rose is a native of the island and knew all of the best spots to capture our special day. We first met Rose for our engagement photos in Mystic, Connecticut. She was full of creative ideas. She made my fiancé and me feel comfortable. She also drove from New York in an effort to make it more convenient for us. On the wedding day, she was able to capture all of the special details. I found she lacked the initiative to look for or give me ideas of a prop I wanted to use like a bow. I had consulted other photographers who actually went to Michaels and purchased a bow and another photographer said she would make one out of ribbon. Rose took a ribbon and made a pathetic bow for the pictures. The thing that really upset me was she continually made mistakes on our cards and when I brought it to her attention she continued to send us the same proof with no changes. When I called her about it she hung up on me. I find that during the shoot she may come across as easy to work with and laid back but this definitely shows in her lack of initiation and attention to detail. I found her work to be amateur and her results unprofessional. Do not use if its for an important event. read more
