Nice little flower shop. Stopped by for some flowers and the lady was really nice. Got my flowers, in and out in like few minutes

So I came to this oddly named florist on a recommendation for my wedding flowers. I had to make an appointment to discuss said wedding flowers with a one Bettyanne, because I guess Bettyanne is the wedding flower person? So anyway I have my appointment booked for weeks. Not easy on a nurses' schedule by the way. Anyway Mother and I show up to the appointment, no Bettyanne. Now in my ignorance I'm thinking this can't be a huge deal, because it's still flowers right? Like do they have a funeral person and a prom person? Or are these all flower people? Well the staff that was present became panic stricken. They called a little meeting in the back to ostensibly figure out what to do with us. Now, if I came into a flower shop looking to buy my wedding gown or book a DJ I could see the issue. But I came into a flower shop to buy flowers. Anyway, they offer up one person to replace Bettyanne, who at this point is feeling like the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz. The woman awkwardly shows me pictures of flowers and jots down a few nonsense notes, all the while extolling the virtues of Bettyanne and how she is going to solve all of my problems when she calls me the next day to review my order. I did not put any money down as I was promised a session with the wedding expert. Well mother and I walked out and both decided that was the most awkward experience ever. We took our business to another nearby florist who is very promising and I'm excited to be working with. But here's the real kick in the dick, this Bettyanne character never called me or texted me like they swore up and down she would! The unprofessionalism is palpable and the fact that they were willing to let me go flower less for my wedding is extremely upsetting. Look elsewhere. read more

I made the mistake of ordering flowers off of the FTD website due to having a recent surgery and not being able to leave my home. The picture on the website (ftd) of the bouquet I ordered was $95 and it was beautiful. The bouquet I received looked like something they picked off the side of the road. There was more greenery than flowers, there were supposed to be 7 red roses, there was only 3 red roses, the rest of the missing roses were replaced with wilted and broken carnations. There was no effort to even make the bouquet look semi presentable. I called this florist and they ignorantly told me there's nothing they can do and website photos never look like the actual bouquet. I was then told to take it up with FTD. Thankfully after speaking to someone at FTD, they apologized, told me this isn't the first complaint about this florist and that I will be given a full refund. So two lessons here. 1- don't order flowers from a website. And 2- don't ever get flowers from this particular florist. The flowers sold at red lights before getting on the highway look better than this bouquet. read more

My husband got me flowers for Mother's Day and they were the ugliest bouquet of flowers I have ever received. Not one rose, one sunflower that was dead by the time he gave them to me and two carnations and the rest greens. As someone who can do floral arrangements I was extremely disappointed. I would never get flowers from there again and recommend no one go there. He could have gotten me nicer flowers from Acme but we try to support local family owned business' but it was a complete rip off for what my husband paid! read more

The flowers I received are absolutely lovely, but what stood out even more was the customer service. A bizarre snafu with building security occurred during the delivery process but the gentleman who delivered my flowers went absolutely above and beyond to help me - this on the busiest day of the year! The arrangement that was delivered does not resemble the description or image of what I ordered. The quantity of flowers is half and it is not as colorful as described. I understand substitutions have to be made sometimes but I bought an arrangement marketed as colorful and dazzling. It is not. Also the lengths of the tulips create a poor composition. They are either too long or too short. At the least they could have attempted to make it more aesthetically "dazzling" if the colorful aspect could not be accomadated. And what are all the giant green leaves flopping all over. I assume to make the weak arrangement seem fuller. This is by far the worst flower arrangement I've ever seen. read more

I went here on Saturday to buy my mom flowers for her B-day because I did not want to go to a grocery store or produce place for them. The lady was really nice that helped me & did a great job on the wrapped flowers! I told her that they would be out a water a while & they have this water bag thing they put on the flowers to keep them fresh- neat idea. I was even able to buy my mom Asher's chocolate (her fav), a candle and a cute key chain & ballons.The prices were fair and the quality was great! I think I may even set up an appt. to see about my wedding flowers!! read more

My boyfriend surprised me with the Stunning Beauty Bouquet and I think the florist did a great job! After two days, they still haven't fully opened up, but yet so grand, beautiful and delightful to smell. I love them so much!! I too would give a zero if I was able. I ordered a wristlet and a boutonnière for 2 separate proms, two weeks in a row - so not cheap. Week 1 was OK, nothing special calla lily. Week 2, today, was same but with a wire twirling around the stem up to the lily like a snake (Voldemort killing Lily for you Harry Potter fans). I paid extra to have BettyAnn get the wire to do this and when I told her that it wasn't how I wanted it, and not like the picture which I gave them (three weeks prior), she huffed at me and continued bending the wire to be all bunched up. I told her, just to stop and I would fix it myself and she literally threw the wristlet in the box and walked away! WOW! NEVER, EVER would I recommend this florist!! They were great when across the street from Greenman's deli, but this is barely acceptable, especially the customer service, it sucks! BettyAnn should not be allowed to interact with people! Side note: I do not even like flowers as I am allergic, so I don't like the smell. But when you walk in, you don't smell flowers at all, you smell cigarette smoke!
