I would give this place negative stars if I could! This is an assisted living care facility. At first it seemed nice, my mother-in-law had a nice room which was set up for two, but she had no roommate. The bedding was mismatched so I went and purchase two sets of bedding so they would match. Everything was okay at first when the previous manager was there. When she left it went badly downhill. They moved my mother-in-law to another small, shared room with a woman who seemed to have mental problems. Later they said she could move back to her previous room - why the option after they had moved her we were never told, but at her age change isn't good and so she decided to stay where she was although she didn't seem happy. She hated the food, so we made sure she had snacks to supplement. For juice in the mornings they would give them some kind of punch or Kool-Aid, odd and awful food overall. My mother-in-law went downhill after they moved her and passed away. A lot of the things we were promised with the previous manager seemed to not apply later. When we went to clean up her room WE WERE DISGUSTED. They had little dogs running around all over the place with elderly people around who could easily trip over them. They were cooking what smelled like old meat, the place stunk, was dirty and gross. DO NOT PUT YOUR ELDERLY RELATIVES IN THIS PLACE UNLESS THEY NEED NO ASSISTANCE OR ARE YOUNGER AND JUST HAVE TO BE MONITORED. read more
