The burger I had did not seem to be cooked all the way through and we did have to ask for them to take it back which they did so and gave a new burger at a reduced price. Bread rolls were served warm with olive oil and balsamic, a dish of green pitted olives and a side salad. A number of different beers, from a variety of ales or other imports. Like any pub the service varies from day to day, but overall we found the people friendly and eager to make sure we were happy. Price was pretty reasonable, we usually paid about 100 pounds with five mains and a couple of rounds of drinks (mainly pints of beer) and considering the location on the beach, we paid more elsewhere had less choice. It's full of families and is generally very noisy, which is exactly what I expect of a good pub atmosphere. We all really enjoyed our meals ranging from the special sea bass, to fish and chips and shrimp fajitas. (They didn't call it fajitas of course but something along the line of sizzling shrimp.) The flavors were great, portion sizes were quite generous and service was good. There was plenty of seating inside and nice toilets, one complete with a diaper changing station which is always appreciative traveling with a 3 month old. We loved the food and would definitely return to try other items on the menu. The desserts weren't amazing but the dinner made up for it. Also, the pub quiz was really well done and made the night even more memorable.
