So I was referred to Jerry Rosenband back in 2021 in March. I sent him my information as he requested. April comes, and I hear nothing. After several calls and being blown off, it was confirmed an extension was filed, with no other information. I started chasing after them weekly, sometimes daily. My calls, emails were ignored. All of a sudden, October 15th is here, and my return is still not filed. Then I get a notification he is merging with Shalik Thorn CPA's. So I start hounding all of them. No one answers. No one calls. Then I get a notice that I owe for 2020 and 2021! I got someone at the IRS who said Shalik Thorn filed my 2021 return, and jerry rosenband filed my 2020 return. I ask how, when they dont even call or email? The agent provided me with where to file a complaint. Now I have to fix what they filed and I am beyond furious. I am filing a complaint with the IRS, with the attorney general, and with the state boards of accountancy. This is ridiculous! read more

Someone picks up and puts me on hold for 20 minutes. They don't know how to open emails. The owner left me a voice mail at like 7am but then disappears. Then they respond to my other review and say they were too busy with referrals. Hello! I was a referral! Now im a disgruntled could have been client because you left me in the dark. I wonder if the referrals knew he was hacked? The sloppiness with emails and phone calls makes it obvious how a hack happened. Stay away. read more

Oh my god, this has to be the worst cpa I've dealt with. For the past two years I was paying him to help with my bookkeeping. It turns out that he wasnt doing it. Whenever I asked for a profit and loss I had to wait two months and it was wrong. He never wants to speak to me, promises calls back and never does, and has his staff talk to me who doesnt know anything about taxes or accounting.
