The original owner's ( Marybeth Medley, "was a friend for 2 yrs") main concern is herself, to make…read morethe money she needs, to the point where when people first come into the intense heat and humidity. She doesn't inform them enough to be prepared for new people for it. #1: You must have plenty of water, at least a pint or better a quart next to you. #2 The further back you are from the instructor, the temperature is cooler, especially for beginners. You see, you first pay $20 to start. If you don't come back, sooo what she keeps the 20$ and you quit. My first day I got very lightheaded/dizzy, I forgot my water. I had to stop, left the room, went to the front desk and bought multiple bottles and drank most of them. Then returned. Marybeth would ignor my questions about a proper automatic brief before each class. The humidity system is a bit complex and I was the one that fixed repaired and maintained it for her, I solved numerous other issues including repairing the inside of the hot yoga room. Joseph is the power yoga instructor and one day he verbally assaulted med in a insane rant screaming his head off over nothing while slamming his arm as hard as he could cursing and was obiously unstable. I complained to Marybeth and she intern to make a long story short, she kicked out of the hot yoga classes permanently. She was worried that I was going to get a restraining order for Joseph assaulting a elder- person. My yoga was therapeutic for my PTSD, and very important to my longevity and mental health. Marybeth demonstrates a sociopathic type behavior and I learned that she is a chronic habitual liar. My PTSD is directly connected to my military service of over 20years as a US Navy SEAL, 67 yrs old. The manager Danny of the gym supported her lies and was the one that brought all the numerous quitters to my attention? We "were," good friends.... I saved both if them thousands of dollars......Very SAD. April 2022, was my last day and the beginning of the END of the HotYogaClub. Her KARMA is non existent.

Strictest, but most organized and filled with the fittest people I have encountered at any gym!…read more The gym splits up into 5-6 different sections/rooms. They have a racquetball court, a giant basketball court, 1 cardio room, 1 cycling room, 1 free weight room, 1 mixed free weight/weight machines/cardio, 1 mixed cardio and weight machines, 2 crossfit areas. It will take a lil bit of time to get a hang of where everything is at, but after that, you're golden. They offer everything and more. There are rules that you're supposed to follow (no cellphone usage, dress code, etc...), but unless you're obnoxious or just outright ridiculous with what you're wearing to the gym, no one would say anything to you. Everyone is very nice and courteous. The only gym I have been to, that every single person have the courtesy to put back the weights where they got them from. You will not see any dumbbell or weight plate laying around where they're not supposed to. Best MWR gym I have been to! And best gym over all!

I'm here right now…read morevisiting family and I decided to utilize barns field house gym. while the gym is awesome with everything you need, I see there's a change in staff. when I walked in a enthusiastically said hello and showed my CAC ID. the lady at the front didn't even say hi back which is fine but rudely said "you need a mask". so I said "oh okay.. like to work out too?" and she goes "no but to walk through the lobby". so I just said okay thanks and left but she didn't even respond after and just continued marking her notes. several things could've been done differently. at the base I work at, we only require mask during patient care so hospitals and clinics but also they could've kindly offered me a mask I mean they come in boxes. she could've also just been nicer. kind of ruin the gym pump!
