The best Tacos in AZ that's the closest to SoCal because they are from socal! Crispy beef tacos and rolled tacos and the salsa is the bomb!

Was looking forward to trying this place, which was then confirmed when a coupon arrived in the mail! Ordered a carnitas taco (good), fish taco (blah), and a shrimp taco (delish w/lots of shrimp). Topped with pico and guac, which was great, but not a ton of flavor in the chipotle sauce. The salsa added the right amount of heat and some additional flavor. Tortillas looked homemade. Tacos were $3.75 each. The very, very sad part was the elote ($4.19). It was literally defrosted frozen corn, topped with some mediocre blah cheese. No lime, no grilling (as promised on the menu). It made me very, very sad. It's currently hanging out in the fridge, waiting to be added to something else. Maybe. Random notes: the inside was fine, kind of uninspired. I stood outside the front door while employees stood in front of the door talking to other customers for several minutes (their order was wrong), before anyone would move to allow me in. Have a drive-thru that looked convenient. There's a service fee if you use a credit card. Overall, not a place that inspires a return. read more

My tacos were dry. Also I requested mild sauce. I think the girl that worked the drive thru is so used to providing 2 sauces with every order hot and tomatillo. It's not worth a return visit. I was a little disappointed. read more

Rosie's is a taco Tuesday staple in our house! Five for food quality. 2 for customer service. Never fails. The girls at the drive up suck. Poor attitudes. Asking for salsa is like it's coming out of their paycheck. When you get the taco Tuesday special, they never ask you what drink you want. You have to remind them when you go pay and if you pay with a card and you don't tip, the service just gets worse from there. I usually tip but the last few times I have gone Service doesn't warrant a tip at all. It's uncomfortable and based on that alone has made me second-guess wanting to go and spend my money there. Drove by and decided to go through drive thru, grabbed the 3 rolled tacos with ground beef. The beef lacked flavor and was just mehhh, with the amount of yummy Mexican restaurants in the area, I won't be back. read more

To be honest their food is great, and I love their chile relleno burrito, it's my favorite! However, I'm gluten sensitive and when I asked if I can swap out the flour tortilla for corn they said they would have to charge me extra. I don't think I should have to pay extra for a tortilla swap. I could understand paying extra for an upgrade to GF flour tortillas but that's not what this was. read more

This place is the best! ! The Cali burrito is fantastic and all tacos are huge with lots of meat and toppings , at most taco shops I order 3 tacos but here I just get 2 . Also as an added benefit they have a drive thru. read more

First time trying Rosie's and we will be back! The menu is a tad pricey, but no different than Filiberto's or Los Favs! The chips and salsa can be ordered as 4oz salsa, or 8oz. The salsa that comes with this order is very chipotle pepper tasting with strong flavor notes and a smoother/paste texture. The complimentary bottle of green salsa was tangy and hot while the red salsa was peppery and spicy. Chips were good! My husband got a carne asada burrito, which was large but able to finish just fine. The meat is tender and cooked perfectly! I got the carne asada fries and they were delicious! The serving is smaller than most other local taco shops we all know of, but it was the right amount for one person! I personally liked that they were so simple; topped with just sour cream, guacamole and cheese. Both of our meals came out piping hot, which is always awesome! Something that stood out for me was that the drive thru and pick up orders stayed flowing and fresh! Patrons were ordering breakfast burritos for dinner, maybe I should try that next time! The restaurant is very clean, cool and pleasant. The drink station is stocked nicely with horchata on tap... never seen that!! Overall I would say this is our new favorite taco spot! read more

Horrible experience. They are not ready for prime time. Piss poor delivery and food service. I ordered through door dash: 1 bean burrito: wet with queso 1 bean burrito with carne asada, wet with queso 1 shredded beef burrito, with NO beans I called in to this shop, spoke with what sounded like a 12 year old young lady who was clueless. I told her my issue and asked for a manager. She relayed there wasn't one there (which I find odd for a restaurant but I digress) she was apparently too meek and nervous to talk so all of a sudden a gentleman (term used VERY loosely as he was extremely belligerent, defensive and combative on the entire call which are traits not conducive to customer service.). He never introduced himself and asked "what's the problem?". I slow walked him through my issues which were: - there were beans on the shredded beef burrito which we specifically asked not to have. - there was no carne on the bean burrito which I absolutely clicked - there was ZERO hot sauce of any sort in the order from a MEXICAN restaurant. As to not belabor the point or this review, we "argued" back and forth as to whose "fault" it was and in the end his statement was "so all we messed up was putting beans on the beef burrito" for which he kindly offered that if we brought it back they would make another one. WHAT?! I ordered DOOR DASH so I would NOT have to go to the restaurant. Furthermore he said I wasn't charged for the carne, that shouldn't be an issue. WHAT?!! And that there is no space to check for sauce which seemed to be his explanation for why there was ZERO sauce in the bag. So I highly recommend you do NOT EVER visit this restaurant unless you you have sadistic desires for the worst customer service I've had the displeasure of experiencing. read more

Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff who greeted us right when we walked in. We ordered two burritos, the Cali and the Surf & Turf, and some Birria tacos. Although the name says otherwise, it kind of is just another pinche taco spot. We didn't dislike what we ordered but weren't super satisfied with how much we paid for the experience, and simply felt that we could get a product that was just as good for a lower price, or get something of much higher quality for the same price. read more

Asked for substitution for meal combo, French fries in place of rice& beans. She said ok, she said yes... I honestly don't know if she understands English. But they gave me rice & beans instead of French fries. Received my order and asked about my substitution. She said I didn't ask for French fries. I like some of the food but this last visit was very rude. I ordered my food, pulled up to drive thru window, the cashier just opens the window, doesn't greet me, doesn't say anything, just staring at me with sassy glare? Then I thought I couldn't hear him and I asked if he can repeat what he just said (because it seemed like he was talking very low) and he just gives me this rude stare and stays quiet ? I felt so uncomfortable and confused that I said never mind and cancel my order . Very cold customer service and when I called to ask to speak to manager they gave me the oddest answer (there's no manger here , blah blah blah) and hangs up on me ??? Update on my recent review: I decided to come again. Wait time is just as long. Ridiculous! It's unfortunate to know that this is a regular occurrence at this restaurant. I will stand by my statement that they should get rid of the drive through. Or else they should rename it this sit and wait. There is hardly any driving through going on. My boss, brings Rosie's back to the store quite often. She always shares and it is ALWAYS good. We usually have carnitas tacos and chips with queso. The queso is very good and it goes on everything in the bag, not just the chips. However, yesterday she got a shrimp quesadilla instead of tacos and it was delicious!! I observed the guy at the register blow his nose and show it to his coworker..rub his nose with his bare hands several times...then proceeds to handle peoples food...doesn't stop there he then proceeds to touch the trash can and dirty trays and proceeds to handle more customers entrees! This review is for their "shredded beef tacos". They were excellent! The shredded beef was seasoned perfectly and the corn tortilla taco shells were great. Lots of cheese, tomatoes and lettuce to top them off. Tasted as good as home made. Definitely worth a try. read more
