    Website showing open until 10pm.

Don't understand why this location closes at 6pm. It's such an inconvenience. On some websites it still shows open until 10pm.

They watch me pay then have me stop to recheck my receipt right by the register before I'm allowed to leave. Ridiculous, not going back

Immediately after asking if this store has cocopotamus chocolate in stock, this rude lady said, "what?! Talk slower!". After telling me the flavors, this employee was eager to hang up on me, and I proceeded to ask, "when will you get more in stock". I'm not sure how accurate this answer is, but I was just told, "I don't know, maybe not for weeks". Just from this interaction, I will NOT visit or support this store. This employee was definitely not the owner, but I'm sure this is the same rude lady from Tammy's review. If you call or visit, be warned that there is a chance that you will interact with this lady and be treated like trash. Very nice.

The concept is nomadic, tribal, & fair trade. They have cool cards for all occasions, furniture, house wares, soaps, candles, and they also have some great USA made, organic cotton clothes, by Prairie Underground. Basically, they have pretty much covered every angle you might need covered to create a tranquil environment, a nice smelling fair trade endorsing self, surrounded by candles, Buddhas, and giving great gifts. For it being a Sunday I have to say I was a bit shocked til I saw the Santa booth by the elevator and was reminded it was the holiday season so during the holidays they extend the hours. Anyways after walking around I found this shop. They had a lot of home decor, furniture, hand made blankets, apparel, geo rocks, novelties, jewelry, and so much more related to New Mexico. The blankets they had were so soft and neat, if I didn't have to buy Christmas presents, I would've bought one for myself. They had these dia de los muertos figurines that I absolutely fell in love with! The furniture they had was gorgeous! Wooden bed frames, tables, and even leather couches that were so comfortable and neat. The home decor items they had ranged from wooden sculptures to hand crafted metal figurines. They offered so much. Admittedly the prices were a bit high but it's to be expected for handcrafted products. The mineral rocks were gorgeous but pricey as well. Definitely didn't much under $10 but admittedly everything seemed very good quality so the prices I thought were fair. They are located where the old Zumies was by the elevator in the middle of the mall by the candle shop.

My sister and I apologized and left. We didn't even walk through the door, barely opened it. When we checked the time, it was only five minutes until they opened. I used to work at a boutique and I have NEVER thought to talk to someone that way, especially when there's only five minutes to open....maybe keep the doors locked then? It's such a shame bc we actually like this store but we were so taken aback by the woman's rude reaction, that we've hesitated to go again. Not sure we ever will now.

The addition of Sarabande's shopping odyssey alongside a fantastic paper/stationary seller, jeweler, independent bookstore and salon makes this tiny business center an easy choice for shopping local during the holidays. What I found at Sarabande: +Serious kitchenware, pots and spices that would make me appear far more sophisticated than I'm allowed to claim. +Beauty products, for once, not centered strictly on the female crowd. Hey guys, want to coax that beard in soft scents? Need a few boy scout tools for those rugged spots, or maybe a solid martini manual? You'll likely find what you're looking for. + A completely unexpected selection of cutesy kids clothing, accessories and stuff that'll make that little bundle of drool absolutely adorable. + Home furnishings and urban supplies that would look great in my living room if, again, I could claim any modicum of sophistication. I can't, so I tend to imagine myself living the dream and, well, then I usually grab a bowl of Flying Star mac 'n cheese and grovel in self-pity.
