I quickly realized that all Home Goods are not set up the same. I was looking for Furniture so I was turned around a bit As I made my way over to the furniture, I thought about the sideboard that I saw in another HG. There were quite a few in this HG that caught my eye. Specifically the black one in the photo. There were 2 and now I wish I had gotten both but it's ok the one is enough. I didn't see anyone in the area so I walked around and found someone to help. She was removing the chips, cookies, etc and asked that I give her a few minutes. I continued to walk around checking out the decorative pillows. She later found me standing near the sideboard. She advised me to go to the checkout and she would bring it upfront. This sideboard is beautifully adorned with gold hardware. It has 2 doors and 2 shelves. I knew it would fit perfectly in the dining room. This beautiful piece was priced at $299. Regular price $450 I couldn't wait to get it home and set it up. It's all set and as I envisioned it. You can never go wrong shopping at HG. One thing I want to say is if you see something you like get it. It's not guaranteed to be there the next day or hour. Honestly, I did not know this HG was located in the same plaza as Belk. Now I know and I recommend you to stop in and find some great buys!

I told myself--- I'm on vacation in Atlanta, supposed to be soaking up the sights and enjoying some Southern hospitality. Instead, however, I spotted a HomeGoods and immediately swerved because HomeGoods has a gravitational pull stronger than my travel plans. I went in just to browse. But I saw an Ember Mug (never seen one in any Los Angeles HomeGoods store and it was $40 cheaper than online), a cold brew carafe, white and gold plastic serving dish, and 37 other items I never knew I needed until they looked me in the eye from a decorative endcap. Another sigh. I thought about my luggage situation. No amount of creative Tetris-ing was going to get everything in my luggage. The Ember Mug had a fighting chance, but bought the serving platter instead. Five stars for the experience, zero stars for the size of my suitcase. I'll be visiting HomeGoods when I get back home. Maybe the day of arrival?!

I had my arms full with items (because their "carts" are just a small basket on wheels) and an associate squeezed past me 3 times without saying a word. A manager worked overtime to avoid eye contact, and when I finally made it to the register, the cashier was having a personal conversation with a friend and only when I spoke loudly to get her attention did she turn around. I'm happy with the items I purchased, and I got a good deal I think for everything I got, but I definitely won't return simply because of how terrible the staff is from top to bottom.

Store: They have such cool stuff for home decor, party supplies, kitchen accesories, gift wrapping materials, and they even have some perishables.
