Type something up to the effect of all dressing rooms closed today, print it out, and tape it to those signs maybe? Then the line to check out was so long multiple times. Asked one of the cashiers - who was very nice and working efficiently, if they were short staffed. She said no, they had a truck and other employees were helping with that. I get that maybe they weren't expecting it to be that busy (Saturday before Easter) but at least pick up the pace and communicate with the customers instead of being annoyed she had customers. Something! Maybe she did at some point during the day. It just seemed like she was mad how the day was turning out and she wasn't going to attempt to have customer service skills.
