I called regarding repair and they said "yes, send it in". I sent it, No acknowledgement, no text, no email, no idea if they even received it. I follow up. Two weeks later, "Yes we got it". (Not without the "customer service" blaming me for sending it right BEFORE trout season! I told him, actually the reel failed at the END of trout season on the North Island of New Zealand. Six weeks passed. Nothing, no call, no text, no email. I follow up. Called "customer service". "Yes we have it, no "we haven't gotten to it yet, but you are on the top of the bench, and we will get it out by early next week". Two weeks later, no text, no call, no email, no parcel carrier tracking number. I call, no answer. I leave a message. "Do you have a tracking number for me"? Two days later, no phone call, no text, no email. Please know, I was over the top kind , courteous and respectful from my first interaction to my last. At this point I will not be buying another Ross or Abel. If they didn't want the job, they should have not offered the service.
