The management was rude, someone stole our phone and we went in 10 minutes before closing time to see if it would be less loud. Our phone was showing up at the Ross on find my iPhone, we went in and management was told we were looking for our phone. She said we better hurry up because they are about to close. They made us leave 2 minutes before the store was actually supposed to close. We were looking around the last cars there trying to see if the phone would ping, we did not look in the cars we were a parking space away but close enough to hear if it was in there and they were all making faces at us. I just went to Ross today for some shopping, the store experience was fine, though when it was my turn to go to the register a woman named Vet aggressively yelled that her register was open. Then as she checked me out she asked for my zip code in a rude way with no explanation, all while I was being pleasant, and at the very end instead of asking me to get my receipt or handing it to me she said "take your receipt" I hope Vet learns to have a more positive attitude throughout the day especially when dealing with costumers that are being perfectly nice. read more

Ross is very well organized and clean. This is no Big Lots! It's located by the Home Depot on 23rd Street. They have a wide variety of items from apparel to housewares and furniture. Check here before you pay the high prices in department stores. And don't forget the Clearance racks! I think they get new shipments every week or so. read more

Ross is always a crap shoot, you either can find something or not, it's been looking pretty bare lately. Bealls Outlet opened nearby so that may have stolen some business, .. dressing rooms are grungy and dirty, broken merchandise here and there, dirty clothes on the racks .. just a mess .. it's a typical Ross. read more

I visit this store with the wife, the past year it's been slim pickins but gearing up for holidays this year they have stepped up, huge selection for home decorating, gourmet food items and clothing for the entire family, good prices. read more

Went in there today to buy a rug and some shirts... I didn't see a lot of staff members, but the cashier was nice when I was checking out.

ROSS always has the best selection of Tommy Hilfiger purses and other TH items which I am looking for. Also, they have a decent selection of Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren dresses. Love to go there on Tuesdays for the senior discount. The manager is always friendly and most of the cashiers as well. In contrast to the beach ROSS where you have to wait forever because they only have a max of two cashiers on duty, the 23rd St store mans their registers according to demand. However, their return line policy should be changed and handled like at TJ Maxx-one line for all, because the returners who ROSS has to pay money back get priority treatment in comparison to the customers from whom ROSS is receiving money. read more

i am very unhappy with the Ross check policy's recently shopped at the panama city Ross location...after my retail therapy i wrote a check to pay for my merchandise the check machine declined my check...not once but twice...very unhappy i decided to return a few items so i could just pay cash for them...as i looked down for my stuff the store loss prevention guy had already assisted my friend in loading all of my items...so i couldnt even go thru it...i got the phone number for the check company and was able to speak with a man who was able to verify funds but were unable to reverse the transaction....the explanation i had for my check being declined was that there had been problems in the past with similar checks...so i was penalized for someone elses problems...and was told i could fill out an application so i could get around the system to write my checks in this establishment....hog wash!!!!i shouldn't need to fill an application in order to write a good check in a department store...so i was pretty much told tuff there is nothing they can do....how do you do business if you cant take payment from your customers...i can say i will never be back and will tell my friends to stay out as well... read more
