After doing a great deal of research of Yelp, Angie's list and many law firm affiliates, I found Ross Law Firm. It felt like a professional and comfortable fit for my family. My Mother wanted to adjust her trust and we worked closely with Patrick. The cost was approximately $4,000 which we thought reasonable. Payment plans are also offered, which is a terrific alternative if needed. We began the process just after the Covid pandemic. Patrick worked with Mom virtually. She preferred her documents be rushed and paid an additional fee. We met with the firm in the parking lot to sign the proper documents safely (masks, social distancing) and the complete packet was mailed overnight. The experience was thorough and positive. My email and phone call was explained that I would only prefer via telecon to ask and answer questions would be best! I called and explained as noted and spoke to whomever answered she was and explained was told would I would speak with attorney for an estate plan for an administrator fiduciary as originally noted on the website! As such when I called to speak with the attorney the person who answered questioned me to answer to her all information and would not even stop to give me her name and position. She said she would calendar a date and time and again repeated name I gave her telephone address etc., but when I wanted to know her name and position she repeated to tell her what date would she calendar avoiding to give to me her info! I said all I want to know is her name and position and she was huffy about it! I find this type of interaction difficult and offensive! If this is that difficult to speak with the attorney for a few minutes to determine if this is a contact I'm looking for to represent me for the estate plan then I wonder how my estate would be administered timely if at all! Although it is sobering to be reminded of your own mortality, we were pleased with their recent work in preparing our comprehensive estate plan. Bob Ross worked with us for the initial discussions and meetings. He was able to create a very helpful one page summary pictorial showing all the components of the proposed estate plan (various types of trusts, etc.) and how they would operate and integrate. He also discussed situations where there were alternatives or decisions needed, and did a nice job hearing our feedback and incorporating it into the plan.
