You can find unique items from home decor to clothing within a moderate price range. We picked up a few clothing items, all very well made and have stood up against the test of time (its been 2 months with regular wear & wash) and they have lasted longer than anything you would buy back home for about the same price. So quality is top notch! we need more of these types of places in the states !

They had some bigger things too, but I wasn't looking to spend too much or haul something big back to the US. Everything had a nice Polish flavor, and by that I mean a good mix of traditional and modern art.

I don't buy leather bags anymore, unless they're made from recycled materials, but fortunately the leather things sold (bags, wallets etc) in the shop are all handmade from recycled bits. I ended up with getting another Little My shoulderbag, better colours and big enough to hold a computer. Lovely, rustic, handmade, upcycled and one of a kind. Ticks most of my boxes ie. And for a very very very reasonable price. They also sell handprinted T-shirts and trinkets of all sorts. Well worth a visit if you look for something unique, non-touristy and fun to bring home from Kraków.

In fact, it kind of looks out of place compared to everything else in the area with its brutalist architecture. The entire building needs a face-lift, yet this store is popular because it's practical. My husband needed a personal handbag to carry his CPAP machine onboard the plane. There was no better place to go than Jubilat. It was conveniently located nearby, and just around the corner from our hotel. There is a grocery store on the ground floor with a deli and bakery. There were all kinds of Polish goods available. We were directed to the upper floors by a security guard when asking where we could find luggage. We ended up on the 3rd floor. There were many types of bags including backpacks. He found what he needed. It was a quick & affordable purchase. The actual store is very old school and traditional. It really does feel like you're stepping back into a different time period. Despite all of that, it was a cool experience.

They sell new products, but the architecture of the building reminds about it's legacy. It has four floors, there is a food supermarket and an alcohol store on the ground floor. On the rest of the floor various things are in stock - clothes, furniture, electronics - you name it. It's located 5 minutes form the town centre and has a very small shared parking. It is also very expensive and has poor cutomer service, due to the fact that the management doesn't seem to understand the importance of it. There are also conference facilities and a gentlemens club at the top floors. The best thing is that the ground floor supermarket is open 24h.

At times the cinema and adjoining McDonald's can become overrun by kids. Pink Bowling is really good fun and can work out quite cheap if you book on the right day or many to take advantage of the student discount. I would rate this shopping centre as a 5, but McDonald's used to have a lovely view over the lake, but now a gym is in the way.
