This is a beautiful venue. We had our daughter's 3rd birthday here.Mahi did an amazing job bringing my Vision to life. She is so delightful to work with. She made sure to do everything as i wanted. Decor, food , cake & service everything was perfect. We are extremely happy that we decided to do our little girl's birthday at this venue. This venue is extremely beautiful without any decor even & decorations added cherry on cake. We can't wait to do more of our life events at this place. I would recommend roswell cottage hall & Mahi to all my friends & family to celebrate their events.

Wonderful event venue!! We held our daughter's wedding reception here with 195 guests and all our Pinterest dreams came true! Mahi was a delightful host to work as was her staff. We appreciated the venue's flexibility to bring in as much or as little outside vendors as we wanted. Beautiful, kind, easy, affordable.

My friends surprised me by celebrating my 40th birthday party at Roswell Historic Hall and I absolutely LOVED every part of it. Even though I had visited the venue many times, I was still blown away by the venue and decorations, food, and Mahi's hospitality. Thank you Mahi and the entire Roswell Historic Hall team for making my birthday one I will never forget:)

We booked Roswell Historic Cottage for our wedding. We had a short engagement and had to get the planning started quickly. We began the process with Mahi. She was very nice - not the monster that the previous reviews portray. We submitted a deposit to secure our day and signed the contract. After our initial meetings with Mahi, my fiancé and I moved to Cleveland, OH. The rest of our contact with the venue had to be done mostly from afar. During this time, I worked with Amir via phone and email to hammer out details and to submit the rest of our payment. I was easily able to get an appointment for a venue walk-through with my caterer prior to the wedding - about a month out. Mahi let us in and let us conduct our business. I did get a little thrown off by a group of reviews left on the venue's Facebook page. It's apparent that a prior client was disappointed with their experience at RHC and had many of their friends + family leave one star reviews to back them up. To be more specific, they mentioned a leak in the venue which really got me worried. However... I contacted Amir, he reassured me, and we had NO issues with leaks during our event. Our wedding was pretty DIY. We had friends help us out with coordinating, decorating, flipping to reception, etc. Everything went SO smooth considering. We had 126 guests (to give you an idea of size) and it didn't feel too snug. We put the buffet upstairs so that no guests were separated from the rest. This didn't pose an issue to anyone - plates were brought down to the grandparents! Amir stopped by during the wedding to make sure everything was going smoothly - and it was. Our night was beautiful. RHC is a great backdrop for any special event. The inside is so beautiful as it is, we didn't do too much decorating / we didn't have to. To sum it up, some of these reviews got me wondering if RHC was too good to be true. (The price is right!) BUT... now, after going for it anyway, I can definitively say that it's not. It's amazing. I know a lot of the experience is what you make it, but for that other however many %... Mahi and Amir will be there to help you.

Our experience at RHC was incredible. Amir and the staff of Bebe Cuisine helped us to host our first ever nonprofit Gala there, and it was a 100% win. The environment was beautiful -- perfect for a Christmas time gala and required almost no set up from us. Amir was accommodating and incredibly generous -- he even asked the organization using the space the night before if they would donate their centerpieces to our event! He even helped us with some of the load out at the end of the evening. The staff were top notch, very friendly and the food was excellent. We reached all of our fundraising and friend raising Goals for the night and I know it was due to the beautiful and amazing experience that Amir, RHC and Bebe cuisine provided.

That stunning chandelier that lit the dance floor. It dims up or down, so you can stage the light for dinner and then lower it.

This venue was the BEST decision my husband and I made for our whole wedding planning roller-coaster! Mahi, the owner, is the most professional, generous, calm person and she let me and my wedding planner pester her with such graciousness! It's was all pros for us, but let me just count the ways this venue stood out above all other similar wedding venues: PRICE: We spent less than $2000 booking the place, including police, valet, and a clean-up crew. LIQUOR/FOOD: One of the few venues that lets you stock your own bar, hire your own bartenders, and BRING IN YOUR OWN CATERERS. This is HUGE!!!!! Saved us about $12,000 compared to other venues of similar size and beauty. BEAUTY: The venue is one giant room with crystal chandeliers, exposed brick, a glossy granite topped and mirror-backed bar, and an upstairs lounge area with hardwood floors. It was modern, but has traditional romantic touches that gave our wedding a loft-style expensive feel. SIZE: we packed 180 people into the space and it felt full, but not crowded. The upstairs was great for people who didn't want to dance, and the built-in stage in the venue was perfect for our 3 piece band. All in all, you cannot go wrong, this place was a life-saver. It's such a gem in the heart of historic Roswell. Nab it before it books up!

Cool venue. It's basically one large room with a loft area. I was there for the Poetry Slam, but I could definitely see the space used for a party or wedding. I loved the exposed brick and decor.

Venue is beautiful; you can bring your own caterer and liquor if you have a tight budget. However, they also provide full package complete with day-of coordinator! Flowers: Hamilton Flowers, Roswell. Catering: BeBe's catering. A hidden gem in downtown Roswell with easy access to nearby parking. I highly recommend it!

The food was also incredibly good and the bar even took the steps to serve modified Old Fashioneds (no simple syrup). However, their customer service ahead of and at the end of the wedding (and even how they treat their staff) was well below expectations. And as you will see in their response below, they continue to argue with customers (and in this case their guests after the fact). It's quite surprising to see a vendor argue with someone in a public place. A bit about my background, I led a $2B business selling to a major retailer - and in my career, I never argued back with that customer because it seemed dumb to argue with folks keeping us in business. So, the response below (and now in a picture) is shocking to see on a $30k+ per transaction business. It also seems to imply that 'pushy attitude' is written in their contract and they will not flex from what's in the contract. Example, the venue had no booking during the day and so opening early, seemed possible [maybe they bill for 1-2 people to be there from the venue itself?]. Their actions and sometimes lack of - led to a higher than expected stress level for the bride and family. All of these things seem easy to remedy on their part. However, if you decide to get married here - it seems critical to have everything you expect of them spelled out in the contract (down to requiring the demeanor of the management to be polite, consistent, and responsive). As I understand it, many commitments were made by the venue ahead of the big day - only to be told over email at 1 AM, two nights before, were not included. This is after leading up to the event never being able to have a consistent contact person - perhaps, requiring the event sales rep to give their cell # to customers is a good idea? One example, was saying last minute they would not provide vases for the flowers on tables. In a last stitch effort, vases were rented from the florist. Day of, the venue was insistent that those coming to decorate could not be in Ivy Hall any sooner than 4pm for a 6pm start. At the end of the night, the staff quickly broke down the tables and expected those of us packing up the gifts, vases, flowers, signs, etc to be extremely quick. Amidst that chaos, there were candles and plastic domes around them sitting next to other things that were the wedding party's. We started packing the white candles and the manager came over and said "Those aren't yours! And great, you messed them up!" She then proceeded to chastise the bar tender for not paying attention to us stealing things. Why would we want 10-20 used candles? And, my girlfriend overheard them loudly say 'we're trying to get them out of the bridal suite' - when they were packing up the bride's things. As an aside, it takes me back a little to have the management call the bride's family "vendors" in her response (see picture) as we were the ones setting up and taking down decorations. Great venue, good food, bad service. A well spelled out contract defining your (not just theirs as the management states in their comment) expectations is a must-have if you do a wedding or other event at Ivy Hall. You only get one wedding, venues do many of them - might consider elsewhere if you are seeking guidance from the venue's experts throughout this once in a lifetime event for you.

The person who answered stated they couldn't book the reservation themselves but assured him someone would call back shortly to confirm. Unfortunately, no one ever called back. After that, no one answered the phone for the rest of Tuesday, Wednesday, or most of Thursday. When he finally reached someone right before closing on Thursday, he was told they were completely booked. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing due to the lack of communication and follow-up. We understand places get busy, but not returning calls and then suddenly being fully booked after initially confirming availability is poor customer service. Their reservation system also clearly needs improvement. An online reservation model would make much more sense because the current phone-based process is not working effectively. Although I've enjoyed tea here on a couple of different occasions, the experience is not astonishing enough to return after this reservation experience.
