I do like the friendliness of staff at this place. I was there once before and had pizza. The pizza crust was delicious but the sauce topping more than a bit spicy but I wrote it off as an off night with too much red pepper added in error. Fast forward to last Friday. I decided to try one of their other dishes. Lasagna was ordered. The lasagna was not in the traditional form but that's not necessarily a deal breaker. The sauce was. The heat was way too much for me. I've tried lasagna in many corners of the US and never have i had red sauce that had that much heat to it. I admit I'm a light weight.when it comes to spicy. But after terrible indigestion, multiple tums and a sleepless night I've decided I won't return unless I can order something not spicy. We have eaten from this place several time and not been disappointed. Yes they have the typical Italian menu, but it is fine at a higher level. We have had several different pasta dishes and the pizza and never been disappointed. We typically get our meals and take it home, which is only about 5 min away, and it is always hot and complete. My wife is originally from NY and believes that is the birthplace of good pizza. But she truly enjoys the pies,(her verbiage) from Rotelli's and raves about there taste and quality of the dough. We stopped here after visiting the CCU campus. The food was really good, some of the best pizza I've had outside the NYC area. If you're visiting Myrtle Beach from the northeast and looking for some pizza on par with back home, this isn't a bad choice. The staff was friendly and they have a book exchange with a good variety of genres. The buffalo chicken pizza was good and they had several gluten free options, if that's your thing. We recently had takeout from Rotellia - Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Fettucine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. The person taking our phoned in order was very pleasant and thorough. (Someone who knows how to take an order!) Our food was ready on time and was piping hot! The pasta dishes were good and definitely a lot of food. We both had the side Cesar salad with our pasta. Oh my, the Cesar dressing was AMAZING! I would go back just for the salad :-) Next time we go, we will try the pizza. read more

It was ok. Nothing to rave about. Lots of gluten free options. I got baked ziti, and I wouldn't classify it as a baked ziti. It was pasta in a dish with some sliced mozzarella melted on top of it. Reliably decent Italian food. Pizza is pretty good and I loved the lasagne that was served at a catered event. My family & I had dinner on Wednesday night at Rotelli's and it was excellent!! We were greeted by an awesome waitress name Claire, she gave top notch service. I ordered penne carbonara & it was perfect. They were able to accommodate & make it with gluten free pasta. The kids ordered penne alfredo, wings, & pizza. Husband enjoyed his wings hot!! We love this place and go often, but one suggestion that would make the dining experience much better..use bigger salad plates for side salads! I end up with salad on the table every time, there's not room to toss it or mix the ingredients without doing so. Yelp always helps when we are traveling and this place was solid for Italian. In a unassuming strip mall, close to the college, this cute spot has a huge menu! I'd give the service 5-stars though. Jacob was very attentive and always brought fresh glasses of soda or refilled water. The fresh bread / oil was good and the kids loved the dough ball play and bake! The balsamic dressing was incredible!! Super creamy and perfect for the house salad. We got a 16" cheese pizza; a solid pizza! Good crunch to the dough, not greasy. We also ordered the chicken Marsala and eggplant Parmesan. The Marsala was good- only complaint, needs salt. The eggplant was so so, there's a weird cream filling (think the inside of a stuffed shell) and again, needed salt. Overall, huge portions, good prices and great service! read more

This is probably going to be my favorite spot to go to. The ambience is clean, quiet, romantic and cozy all rolled up into one. The waitress was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to all of our needs. For our appetizer, we ordered their wings and it felt like I was at home. The wings had the right amount of seasoning & they also had a nice crunch to the skin. My husband had the Rib Eye with a regular side salad, roasted potatoes & grilled veggies and I had the Chicken Picatta with Linguine & side Caesar Salad with a delicious homemade Ceasar dressing. The portions for both dishes were perfect! I loved the fact that they served warm bread and seasoned olive oil on the side for dipping.
