Probably the worst beer and the rudest service in all of Germany. We went there on a friday night…read moreand ordered a pint of Guinness and half a pint of Kilkenny, and when the beer arrived, it was weak and flat. The Guinness tasted as if it had been diluted, and the Kilkenny as if the beer pump and pipes were in severe need of a thorough cleaning. It was barely drinkable. When we mentioned this to the barman, he said 'Well, you ordered it yourselves, so if you don't like it, it's really not my problem. Maybe you should go home and brush your teeth before drinking it.' Very efficient way of losing customer's patronage, thank you very much. Never setting foot there again. Oh, and incidentally ... behind the bar were stacks of canned beer which looked as if it had been bought in one of the nearby tax free border shops and now were being sold illegally here.

Wir waren letzte Woche auf der Durchreise und machten halt in Tönning. Eigentlich wurde us gesagt, dass es sehr feine Fisch Restaurante dort gibt. Jedoch konnten wir wegen dem schlechten Wetter nicht gross durch dieses nette Städtchen laufen. Plötzlich standen wir vor dem roten Hahn. Speisekarte angeschaut und sofort entschieden hier gehen wir essen. Und es war ein guter Entscheid. Das Essen war super gut und die Bedinung durch den Chef persönlich hervorragend. Wir können dieses restaurant wirklich nur weiter empfehlen! Auf diesem weg möchten wir uns noch einmal recht herzlich bedanken für den schönen Abend und das wirklich super gute Essen!! read more

Wir waren kürzlich zum 2. Mal dort. Beide Male wirklich sehr gutes Essen und dafür auch sehr faire Preise! Man geht flexibel auf Wünsche ein. Kinder bekommen jedes Gericht, das man auch klein portionieren kann. Freundlicher Service (auch der Koch erkundigt sich, ob es geschmeckt hat!). Ambiente ist schön (altes Feuerwehrhaus) und zum Hafen kann man dann hinterher ja noch den Verdauungsspaziergang machen! ;-) Klare Empfehlung! read more
