As it happened, they had a cancellation on the afternoon that I called, and they came out that afternoon. It was a pleasure to deal with Preston and Jorge. They did beautiful work. Hannah, the receptionist, was also efficient and very courteous. They re-plumbed everything for the washing machine, and also took care of a problem with the shower and two hoses at the water heater. Much has been said about the high prices of Area Plumbing. For the type of work that was done, the amount of time it took, and the materials, I did not regard the price as too high. However, they looked at some other plumbing in my home, told me the price to make repairs, and it seemed high. The other work is not urgent, and I will do some price comparisons before making a decision. They charge a $98.00 evaluation fee, which is non-refundable and which will not be included into your total amount. This is a separate charge. Area Plumbing gained my trust, and so I lean toward using them again.

I was referred to MF Plumbing by someone over on NextDoor local communities. I am a retired…read morebusiness owner, and I know the importance of building referrals. It is always best to choose a local business who's owner is also an operator, as is this business. That said, I called the main number and left a message. We had a clog somewhere in our system and water was backing up in our bathroom. Within a few minutes I received a call back and made an appointment for the next day between 10-12. Mario arrived a few minutes after 10. I took him in and we talked about the back up inside, then took him our to our septic system. He looked around for a few minutes and told me just where he through the clog was. With one tank cover off, he sent his snake through one of the inlet pipes, and all at once the waste water whished through the main pipe and the clog was cleared. We also have a dump pipe for our travel trailer, which he snaked to clear out. Within 45 minutes we were up and flowing as good as new. Before he left, he said he wanted to check our septic tank filter, which was also clogged. He cleaned that out, too. To say that were were happy with the service AND the bill would be an understatement. His work is top notch and he is a very friendly person to work with and talk to. We are happy to call him if something else comes up in the future.
