I don't feel the same as the reviews. I've been in construction for the past 30 years working for the union! I was an innocent bystander of an accident that caused hundreds of dollars worth of damage. I e-mailed Rotschy's office and they were Johnny on the spot! they sent their personal safety guy out, he was nice courteous and understanding. he got the information for the damaged property and got it to me right away with no problems. Excellent contractor I would highly recommend. They are easy to work with, focus on quality, on or ahead of schedule and budget. The quality of their work is evident on 119th street, the Lewisville Hey, the Port of Vancouver and when a landslide closed I-5 at Woodland they had all lanes open ahead of projections by working round the clock. Often reviews reflect a annoyance rather than the quality of the work. My experiences with Rotschy have been exceptional and rate them as one of the top ethical and quality companies in the industry. read more

I have to agree with the other two reviews that were written. This company won the bid to build a water tower feet from my home. I went to 90 percent of the meetings before this job was scheduled to start so that I could have input. It did not matter. This company does what they want to with NO regard TO THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE AROUND the area where they are working. They put up speed signs to let the workers and THE MANY TRUCKS that are coming and going how fast they are going. Posted for 10 miles an hour. They either hire drivers that can't read or that have NO REGARD to us that live here. They told us that they were going to start at 8 and end at 5 which was another lie. There workers come into the area at 6:30 and start their heavy equipment at 7:00. I have lived here for 17 years and others have lived here longer then I. We have had NOTHING but issues with our homes since they started. Yet they tell us that they put in vibration monitors so it can't be from their workers. Peoples water lines have broken. There are cracks in peoples walls and homes and they say it is not their fault. Yet NOBODY had any issues until they started with all the heavy equipment and the they big pile driver. Not even mentioning the MASSIVE dump truck activity. And this is a 2 year I am also going to see about posting something with a social media site to warn people there as well. Worst construction site management I have ever seen. They are doing work along the road where I work and we are supposed to have access more often then not we cannot exit out parking lot and trying to exit through the neighbors is dangerous due to the detour traffic combined with the high speed. Would never use them for a project and would prefer not deal with them as a driver. read more

I would never recommend this contractor. They are extremely sloppy, unorganized and not courteous with passing traffic. I don't know if they have their own flaggers or if they hire out but on more than one occasion I have been let through a construction zone by the flagger and their very large equipment have still been working in the lane that I have been allowed to travel through showing the lack of communication. The large CAT drivers are hauling through the construction zone at a high rate of speed with their buckets full of material, obviously not following safety guidelines. This morning on my way to work I had a large CAT pass me when I was going the speed limit and he was carrying large steel plates in his bucket and I wasn't traveling in active construction. I can not express how unsafe and sloppy this company runs. I was complaining to a friend about what I had experienced and when I mentioned the name Rotschy, their response was...."oh yea we won't even allow them to bid our projects anymore". I can not tell you how unsatisfied I am dealing with this company on a daily basis, not worth saving a buck!!!! read more
