This is one of the most amazing places we've encoutered in Sweden on this years Road Trip.
Parking is easy, just in the forest a few meters away from the shore. Parking can get quite full though - and it's free of charge.
Garbage can (use them - your last chance) and toilets are located right at the parking lot.
The landscape here is breathtaking. The rock formations are unreal - looks like another planet. When we were here it was quite misty and foggy (lots of humidity - got wet without any rain). That just added to the otherworldly experience.
It's a great place to walk around, taking a dip in the water or - as many do - for a nice picknick.
We stayed around two hours and then headed a bit east of the rocky shore, where a nice trail leads you along the shoreline with lots of nice views and spots on the way. Compared to the rocky west side a lot greener with cliffs and trees.
Both ways are very nice. Try to enjoy both if you have some time. Enjoy the rocky beach and go for a nice walk along the trail. read more
