I follow them on IG and wanted to support local businesses. My first visit was fine, but my second visit within a week was not so great. Here's my experience on a Sunday. They were busy, I get it. Customer service seemed like it was bothersome to them. I had my 9 year old daughter with me and she was in the stuffed animal room looking and the guy basically asked her to come out of there because no salesperson was in there. Ummm, she's 9 and was excited to see all those teddy bears but not allowed to look while we were waiting on our order? She was not touching or messing anything up. WTF I just said ok and asked my daughter to not move around. It felt super uncomfortable and I felt unwanted there. Also, I selected two bunches of roses, one of them didn't look like the bunch I selected as the roses were all open and seems has started the wilting process. I paid and left. Will NOT be supporting this business again. It's a bummer because they are so close to where I live but I will just find another place to shop. read more

Every time I walk in, there's always some kind of tension between the staff -- they seem upset, stressed, or even rude to each other and to customers. It really changes the whole mood of such a beautiful place. For example, once I went there for my friend's birthday around 11:45 PM (they close at midnight). I just wanted to buy a nice bouquet and some balloons to make her day special. But the girl working there spoke to me in such a rude way, saying they're about to close and that I can only pick one ready-made bouquet, no custom orders. When I asked for balloons, her tone was the same -- cold and annoyed. Dear Rouge Rose, please, please work on your customer service. You have one of the most beautiful flower shops in Glendale and North Hollywood -- but kindness and warmth are what truly make customers come back. I went in for a quote for a wedding and showed him pictures of what I wanted and he started yelling at me that he did not understand what I wanted. Absolutely horrible experience. My fiancé came here to buy a bouquet of peonies to surprise me for my bridal shower. 2 days before the shower, there was a sudden death in the family, which resulted in us having to cancel the shower. My fiancé reached out to the owner 2 full days in advance, explained the situation to the owner, asked to cancel the order, and was told absolutely not. They charged my fiancé $600 for a bouquet of 100 peonies, which is a CRAZY price for peonies. Not to mention, the peonies were not good quality and were already shriveled on day 1. There was absolutely ZERO customer care or service, the owner is rude and disrespectful, and told my fiancé that "under no circumstance can he refund because he will be losing money." He also tried to make some ridiculous explanation about how he will be unable to resell the flowers to other customers, even though it is spring season and peonies are selling faster than any other flower currently... Offered no discount for future purchases, refused to refund even a portion of the transaction, no ways to right this wrong, and overcharged for a laughable bouquet. Will never be using their services again. read more
