Nice Old Stuff is a great improvement, I'm still trying to work out where on earth I'd fit the farmhouse table they had in the window with the most gorgeous worn, textured surface. Walking in, you're surrounded by antiques and collectables, as well as a few contemporary items that I personally found less appealing, but all are displayed with flair and interest. An antique tin hipbath sits atop a table, old fishing reels jostle with vintage kitchenalia, the creepy uranium-green of Depression glass glows next to beautiful woodwork. The staff were chatty and eager to help, obviously excited by the recent opening. There's soap you can pick up for a few dollars right through to an amazing antique railway cupboard for considerably more. A great place to browse and they do restorations and repairs as well. Now where could I put that table?

Sitting on Enmore Road (opposite Enmore Park), you'll recognise it by the jumble of antique furniture out the front and you can pull in to the store's carpark on the right. There are heaps of great knick-knacks and collectables, like malt tins, bottles, bird cages and artwork. Last time I was in there I saw an amazing kids' table and chair set in the shape of a cartoon-style red-and-white mushroom. It took serious willpower to walk away from that... From cushions to quilts to kitchenwares and frames, you'll be tempted to buy way more than you can fit in your house. If you're renovating, you've got an even better excuse to spend up big. There are always plenty of great doorknobs, light fittings and an eclectic mix of chairs. It's not all antique, though; you'll also spy some beautiful new products like candles and teacups. The owners have used every last inch of space so be prepared to do some digging!

The second room appeals to me a bit more. The stuff here is a bit more rustic, a bit less previous. And there's quite a bit of it; watch where you walk. But a great deal of it doesn't seem to be *actual* antiques, just stuff made to *look* like it is. If that's fine by you, then the prices seem fairly reasonable.

I often wonder how shops like this survive, but I am glad they sometimes do, when you walk around a place like this with jammed with so much treasure and trash that you can barely move, it is like entering another world (they don't even have a shop sign), I really find it fascinating. I never know what I will find, never anything I need but always something I want which I had never thought about before. They sell old cutlery and crockery, old books, vinyl, cameras which are probably 100 years old, teapots, old clothes a great place for costumers. Some of the old toys are fascinating too. If you are a fan of Antiques Roadshow this shop will be your dream come true.

A huge antiques and collectables centre between the airport and the city…read more So much variety, and so much to look at! You can spend hours and not see everything.. Used to have a problem parking, but a cheap parking station has opened across the road - which is made it so much easier when their parking is full! I've had friends visit as I've told them about it. They came in by train, which they said was not far away. The staff are wonderful, and regular visits are worth it, as there are so many dealers and they bring new stock in all the time. As you can see by my review, I love the place! **Tip, if you see anything is a locked cabinet, look for the stall number on a tag and they will bring the keys for you!

Pymble Antiques is a novelty store which is quaint and has lots of charm despite being quite…read moresmall. It almost looks a bit out of place in Pymble among other fast food joints and restaurants. The store sells a bunch of things from linen and retro goods to Paris artwork and knick knacks. The shop is very interesting to browse and there's always something interesting to look at. If you're in search of something unique as a gift or for your house, Pymble Antiques is the place to look!

Something old something new! This little shop has some beautiful french provincial pieces. I love…read morethat you can find a set of antique french teaspoons beside new placemats that are of an older style. The linen is of the highest quality. The prices are more on the expensive side...but you won't find the same thing in a friend's house when you go to that special dinner party. Buy and enjoy that little piece that is different. You are bound to get a comment. The shop is on Military Road at Mosman, parking is an issue. However there is a nearby small shopping centre and you can just walk across the road.
