Okay, I just have to say that this place is legit a great place for lunch. The price is really reasonable during weekday lunch and the service is really attentive. They got our soup base out after a few minutes so we were just sitting around talking to our friends for a few min and it took a while to simmer but we got sauces in the meantime. Our servers made sure we got everything we needed and I loved their lamb over all other meat options, but that is just me! They made sure we had enough soup and drinks and if there was something not coming that was there on the belt already, they made sure to bring it to us, which I loved and appreciate! This place is sill relatively new and they're running a promotion where they give oh half a lobster tail for each adult who comes for dinner. The only place this little mall had going was that Saigon Vietnamese place, but now with this addition I can see this place getting more busy. The quality of the food was pretty good but the service for meat refill was slow. This can be understandable since they're still new and was fully packed. They do take reservations and so this might be your best bet if you come during a weekend night. My only issue is with the other patrons. Please let people know it is not okay to reach across the conveyor belt, the food will come around and there's no need to put your entire arm inside the belt to spread your germs. Also, please do not put used/empty food bowls back on the conveyor belt, this is so not hygienic. They have people who come by to collect used dish ware. read more

Once you are seated you need to pick out your broth and then your first plate of meat. Each person also gets one plate of seafood (dinner special): lobster tail, oyster, 3 hand made meatballs made of fish, beef, pork, and a scallop. The sauce station is self-serve and is located in the back of the restaurant. There is also a small buffet table of sushi, hot items, and cold appetizers to fill you up while your broth is being prepared. Once your individual hot plate is at the boiling temperature, rock and roll. You will continue to get multiple plates of food coming out to you super fast (I had to pace myself) because the service here was top notch. I had refill orders of beef and lamb come out multiple times without even having to flag anyone down! Talk about reading my mind... The conveyor belt had a number of items coming out: fresh veggies, seafood, noodles, meatballs, Dessert is included! Just pick the item off the conveyor belt. Starting off, like most of the reviews here stated here, this place is similar to Seapot. However, I'd much prefer Seapot over here in terms of options, quality control, and mood of the area. A quiet, slightly lonely and potentially empty place, upon arrival we were immediately seated as one of the three parties there. On the deeper inside of the place, there is a sauce bar and right next to it is a self-serve appetizer bar. The sauce bar had a variety of options, pretty much any sauce you can name, from the sauce cocktails to the usual soy sauce, sesame oil, etc. On the day we went, for appetizers there was fries, potstickers, seaweed salad, and some other things I don't remember. After we sat down, we ordered our soups, meats, and were brought the special seafood platter they only have for dinner. And now onto the food... The conveyer belt consisted many raw hotpot items such as seafoods, spam, mushrooms, and many more items. There was also dessert on the belt and I wanted to try them all! It's safe to say, we ate a lot and were stuffed by the time we asked for the check. However, the quality definitely needs some work. The seafood platter was mediocre and tasted so fishy like it was the actual ocean, I didn't even finish it. The lobster also tasted like rubber. We found out that you can make a reservation on google though, which we didn't find out until later. Concept: you get a your own hot pot and you grab whatever you want to cook in your hot pot to eat off the conveyor belt that goes "round n round" the restaurant. They only thing you have to order from the staff is the meat. I got the Thai soup base and really enjoyed it. They also have a sauce bar if you want to dip any of your food in that as well. When we were eating, I felt like the conveyer belt was pretty empty. I'm not sure if it's because the restaurant was full and people were stacking up on plates or if they didn't put food on there quick enough. One of my favorite spot. I drive close to an hr to come here. 2 things stand out to me. 1) the ppl are super friendly and inviting, they talk to you like you're friends and check in on you. I don't typically care for customer service especially in Asian places but here it stands out. 2) they provide quality food options besides the meat and lobster tail. They provide enoki mushroom, snow pea leaves, Chinese yam (山药）, lotus root, Chinese fried donuts. I don't see these in any buffet places because they're not the cheapest options. Most places have just lettuce, broccoli, and maybe spinach. However all the items I listed are only for dinner (exception is lotus root). The value and variety is great. They also serve two diff kinds of Chinese dessert as well, the sago/taro and the snow fungus drink/soups. read more

Such a fun experience!!! If you like hot pot I highly recommend this place. It is nice that you can just grab things off of the conveyor belt as they come. We had a great selection of meat seafood vegetables and noodles. The only downside is depending on where you are sitting other people might grab the items you want first. I'm a sucker for hot pot especially during the cold winter weather. This is my second time now trying this place and it does not disappoint. This is a hot pot with a conveyor belt and your own pot of soup. So, you don't have to share and can customize your hot pot bowl however you want. I got the tom yum broth because it's my go-to. If you notice it lacks that punch of flavor, you can ask for more tom yum sauce/paste, which is what I did. They also have a sauce bar and I'm so happy they had ponzu sauce. I like to keep my sauce simple and do ponzu, cilantro and garlic. It's the perfect amount of acidity for the tom yum broth. What I love the most about this place is that they give each person a plate of lobster tail, scallop, oyster and 3 seafood meatballs (pictured below). I save this for when I'm halfway through my hot pot because I'm not like so full yet to the point where I won't enjoy it you know what I mean? The conveyor belt makes hot pot life so much easier because you only have to flag down the server for more meat, water or broth. They have a wide selection of veggies, seafood and dessert on the conveyor belt so that you're never bored or leave the restaurant hungry. They do take reservations here, I booked a reso the night before for a party of 6 and we got seated promptly. Lastly, service was like a 3/5. It took awhile for us to get more meat, but other than that this is a solid hot pot spot. For $28.99, I went all in and was the last one standing out of the group because if you haven't read any of my other hot pot reviews, I always have a second stomach for hot pot. Where do I start?!? The conveyor belt was a smart idea, the staff just need to find a way to make it safe. First off, some of the food looked like it had been out for a while, and when I grabbed a plate off of the belt, it was room temp along with the raw meat. This brings me to number two. The plate and belt itself had no guard. I watched a woman cough on the food as it passed by, and reached over to the other side of the belt to grab food, while contaminating the food on her side as her sleeve dragged across the meat. She also sneezed, not covering, onto the belt while an employee was standing at her table, waiting for an answer. The food itself however was ok. The restaurant offered free plate of seafood which was a bit questionable but otherwise a nice gesture. When refilling the broth however, they just refilled it with chicken broth. Unlike other places were if one patron orders a side of random veggies that you're not fond of and is force to help consume. Here every portion is mini, thus allowing good portion control without concern of being charged for leftovers. Perhaps the other major factor that has been noted in prior review is the availability of a lobster tail that is offered to each patron. food quality was decent. But plenty of parking! Which is AMAZING that they're still able to keep the quality of food top notch. Today was a laundry day, so I went over to the laundromat in Brisbane at lunch time, and thought, 'heck, why not give Round n Round Pot a try'? Overall I was happy with the experience, since the staff was super friendly, the food (hot pot base + meat selection) was brought out quickly, and there were tons of options to choose from on the conveyor belt. The goodies on the belt ranged from multiple types of mushrooms, lettuces, cabbage, broccoli and other veggies, to at least 7 different types of noodles, shrimp, clams, mussels, meat balls, fish balls, and the list goes on! I loaded up at the sauce bar, and piled tons of stuff into the pot, and overall everything was tasty and I was more than satisfied. I probably ate too much, in reality. I did notice that one other Yelper complained that the meat was dry when served at the table. What I got (first round was beef, second round was pork) wasn't dry, it was just still partially frozen, which is the way it should be (!). The meat needs to be partially frozen in order to be sliced thinly and evenly, and it should arrive to the table right away and defrost by cooking in the boiling hot pot. I'll be back! read more

what a great find! it's very similar to Seapot in San Mateo that it uses conveyor belts to carry the hot pot ingredients around. I've always enjoyed Seapot, but this place just might be even better. Pros: service: the first thing that strikes me is the attentive and polite service this place provides. Probably helps that the owner (i think) is there being part of the team. food: they offer many of the same items that Seapot does... the difference is, most the same items here taste better. for example, the pork blood, pig intestines, fish filet, lamb, shrimps, here are a lot more tasty. free seafood platter: each customer gets a free plate of seafood platter, which consists of one lobster tail (!!), one oyster(yum!), one scallop, and two handmade fish balls (yum!) availability: a lot more parking space (location in Brisbane is kind of middle of nowhere), and a lot less waiting time. it opens at 5pm, and if you enter at 6pm you should still have seats! cons: the only things i think seapot might be better is the seating is a bit more spacious, more modern decoration, and some item such as beef tendon seems to taste better. either way, definitely will try this place again! read more

I left my credit card in their restaurant & didn't notice it until the next day. I placed a lock on my credit card & waited until the restaurant opened for dinner at 5 pm. I called & spoke with the owner & told me they have it & I can pick it up whenever I'm ready. I picked it up & since we always go to this place, they didn't even ask for my ID. Well it is my Costco credit card so they can see my picture but the point is they are so honest & very nice to keep it for me! The guy who was attending to our table asked if we have been here before and we said it was the first time. He patiently explained the procedures and we were on our way to start the dinner. Throughout the entire meal, several of the guys kept coming by asking if we wanted more meats, broth, and water plus consistently picked up the empty dishes, I believe they were the owners as stated by another reviewer. After making SeaPot out in San Mateo one of my must-go-to's every time I'm back in the Bay, I wanted to try something new but similar. This place is just ok in comparison. Every time we ordered a meat, it came anywhere from 5-10 minutes! That's pretty quick for such a busy restaurant. BROTH: I got the Malaysian broth and my mom got the Schezuapn broth. I don't really know what I was expecting either the Malaysian broth but I didn't get really taste anything other than the herbs and few vegetables that were in it. I added some chili oil in it to give it some more flavor. MEAT AND ASSORTED SELECTION: The selection is decent, but definitely not as extensive as SeaPot or other counterparts around the Bay. A lot of different seafood options. The meat that you can order wasn't frozen so that was good! You can choose from 6 different meats so it gives a good variety. The sauces were only alright. The sesame sauce didn't really have any distinct flavor and was more savory compared to the sweet/savory mix that I'm used to. I like this place. It's located in a cute plaza in the city of Brisbane. This is my second time coming here and have no problem with service. They are super attentive (disclosure 2nd time around was on a Thursday night around 7:30p). I forgot what day it was the first time around, but they had awesome customer service as well. I like that I get my own pot because I do not have to worry about splitting a pot with someone or worry about what they can and can't eat. Yeah I'm selfish like that so what.
