This is more like an antique mall than a shop. It's HUGE. So many rooms, so many vendors, and a lot of stuff. Some displays are curated better than others. In the area visiting friends and initial drove by. Remembering it was expansive and I had time decided to turn around and walk around. Signage is easy to read from the road and plants of parking. Building has two entrances one for the antiques and the other for a pawn shop. This place is huge and being that I was on a mission, looking for a hand bell for a friend who often says "where's my shame bell?" Decided what better place to look for one. To tackle the size of this place I did all the booths to my left in the room then those to my right. There are four LARGE rooms with multiple booths to look through. Each booth has a number and a few had 20-50% off depending on the booth where others had no discounts. I found multiple hand bells with two that I looked at seriously, one was $8 the other in a locked cabinet for $36. I went with the smaller one since it met me needs and pocketbook. Well worth coming to check out if you're looking for a day trip on a rainy day or looking for something in particular, I recommend stopping in. read more

Love this antique place. The prices are way better than any antique store I have been on route 1 in York county. There is a second location now as of this post. The second address is 483 Main St. This new location has a second floor. I will definitely be back to both locations. Easy access in route 26. read more

This place is HUGE! I couldn't believe how many different rooms this place had. We found so many crazy things here. It was a like a playland for the bizarre. For example: A life Sized Nutcracker, a "portable" hair dryer from the 1950's, really old bottles of coke.... with the coke still in it! My friend found a puzzle that she ended up purchasing. We had more fun here than we ever would've thought. But the fun's gotta end sometime and like so many other places in Maine this one closes at 5pm on the dot. read more

Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. What a great place to meander and get lost in yesteryear while the music of the good old days plays in the background. Something to pique everyone's curiosity....there is truly a myriad of things to be found here. Great for a rainy day or for any day. I love this place. it took awhile to grow on me as at first I didn't realize how far it extended and how varied and reasonable most of the dealers are... I found an awesome photofile of 120 plus old snapshots from the 1920's and 30's for $25.00 (a good find in my mind and I deal photos), great comic books for .99 cents a piece, wonderfully plentiful and VERY well priced tins and other early advertising trinkets (ex-lax, etc.), buttons, beads, beautiful old lace, 2 great tonka/other vintage toy truck dealers (one very high priced but very high end, one very very low priced and much lower end but a lot of fun), cheap vintage jewelry...I could go on. There are a few of what I call torturous dealers- dealers who have a lot of great stuff for prices way out of my range- but these are few and far between and the point is they still have pretty awesome stuff, I'm just too poor to afford it! Also the fact that this place is attached to Pa's Tradin' Post is a huge plus. It's not the upstairs of Pa's that interests me but the basement room that is full of great old things for pretty god prices (mostly not dealer prices but good retail), and I hear that the upstairs of the building opens up the first week of every month to sell even MORE antiques like the ones in the basement- really a wonderfully varied, curious, collectible lot!!!
