Stopped in for a quick breakfast with a friend to start the day. Got there before her and was greeted immediately with a friendly smile and offered a table and a cup of tea. I ordered the floretine omelet and it was fabulous. Staff were so helpful and busy as bees. Seemed like several regulars enjoy dining there as staff knew names and held little conversations. Very welcoming environment, will be coming back.

I stumbled upon this on Yelp and was so glad I did! My husband and I and one of our daughters went on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The place is in an area that was once thriving but is now run down on the outside. Inside however was great, nice and clean, tastefully decorated and our service was a 100. The prices were reasonable and our food was good. I had an egg & cheese on a hard roll with avocado and a side of home fries. My husband had French toast, our daughter got a combo of eggs, toast, home fries, and pancakes.

    Breakfast on the way

Nice, friendly, busy hide away. Only the locals know about this hidden gem. I had the Going Green Omelet; asparagus, broccoli, spinach and avocado with 3 eggs, that and home fries - $10 ... it was awesome and fast too!

    Clean and spacious

Do not be discouraged by the outside and the look of an abandoned parking lot! Yes, the building looks so sad, with empty shops and the only thing open was a liquor store and this restaurant. But I'm so glad my husband was so open minded as we were on the hunt for some lunch in the area. The moment you walk in, it's a whole other vibe. Clean. spacious. The menu had so many options. Breakfast and typical diner food. They have great breakfast specials, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Almost so low that I'm wondering how are they staying in business? But, they must get alot of breakfast traffic. We came during lunch.. around 2pm on a sunday. It wasnt busy at all. One or two other tables filled. I got the turkey club triple decker with fries. Hubby got the roast beef triple decker with sweet potato fries. Both hit the spot! And we were able to have plenty of leftovers. They're definitely very generous in the meat portions. The service was friendly. Felt very family-owned vibe. Definitely will come back to try breakfast options!

Best breakfast I've had in a while! Everything here is super fresh & delicious. The fruit salad is made fresh every day and isn't a premade fruit salad like some dinners have. The owner & workers are super friendly and welcoming. They are also extremely affordable for such high quality food! I can't wait to come back.

Delicious! Single pancake with FRESH blueberries.

Onto Yelp and we find Brazzas. 4-1/2 stars on 55 reviews - let's look. The place is nice, but unassuming. We walked up to the counter and the friendly lady and gentleman (I'd guess husband and wife) cheerfully took our order - a whole chicken dinner. We were told it would be about 15 minutes for a chicken to be ready and we agreed to wait. How can you complain about getting fresh food? We got our chicken that came with a salad with avocado and rice and beans. The beans were not your typical Latin beans. These were white beans that were not swimming in sauce. The salad was nothing special, but was fresh. The chicken was excellent! Well cooked, juicy and tasty. The green sauce for the chicken was terrific too, not too spicy as some tend to be. I'm happy to add Brazzas to our Connecticut 95 food list!

Salmon was served hot off the grill with some charred skin , served with thin tomato based sauce. Mussels were very tender and fresh. Chicken was grilled and served cut into small pieces. What a way to round out the year!…read more This past Sunday, we had reservations for 7 for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated. Our waitress was great too. The way that this place is decorated is phenomenal. Now we went right around the holidays, so it was spooky, but mixed in a Christmas vibe. I'd love to come back and see what the usual decorations are at any given time. I started with a spicy mango margarita and it really hit the spot. One of the children asked for apple juice and it was accompanied by plastic vampire teeth. What an unexpected, adorable touch. Everyone was raving over how delicious the fries were and they were quite good. I upgraded mine to truffle as well. My eggplant sandwich was light and the perfect option for lunch. Two people in our party got burgers and they said that they had the most delicious char on them. Oh, initially when we placed our order, we were told that every item on the menu was made fresh, in house and to consider that when waiting for your order to come out as it may need extra time to prepare. Our food came out perfectly. Actually, a lot sooner than we were expecting after hearing that, but everyone was hungry and it was great. As a final surprise, we were brought out a fun birthday dessert, I think it was complimentary? I really loved how all of the items on the menu are far from the typical restaurant fare you would assume at any restaurant, but also catered to children's likes as well. We are still talking about the meal days later. We will obviously be back in 2026!

However, the bartender was using her phone at the bar. She admitted this was unprofessional and was calling somebody that was late for work. It was between here and Home and I had been there before so we came here. It's the old Tiki bar across from the Mexican place. Same as tiki bar...small place. Not many tables and it was freezing inside so we moved out to the patio. Not much warmer....Whatsoever. There were doors open that didn't close properly and it was pouring outside. I said to myself it is what it is. Ordered the Insalada di Roma to start. Eh. Overpowering garlic taste. Got the lobster roll and man got the Thai Fighter Burger. My lobster was tasty as all lobster is. I can't do gluten and they don't offer gluten free buns so I just ate the lobster meat and fries. The butter on the lobster was very different. Thick. Corn buerre blanc sauce. I still don't know how I feel about it but to me lobster doesn't need a thick sauce on it. Also, it said MP on the menu upon arrival but online one menu said $34 and their actual website said $40. It was $52 tonight. Are you EFFING KIDDING ME?! Never in my life have I seen a lobster roll be $52. This place has no business charging that. We go out to eat all the time to very nice places and have never paid that. It wasn't even a large roll!!! Average. I went to use the bathroom and it had an Out of order sign on the door. I had to go so I used it anyway. Door didn't shut. Prayed no one would try to come in. My hair stinks hours later of fried food. Gross. For almost $200...would not come back.

We walked in with no reservation on Valentine's Day (bold), and the manager couldn't have been more welcoming. Super friendly, got us seated quickly, and set the tone right away. That kind of hospitality matters. The vibe? Cool, modern, slightly moody -- perfect accidental Valentine's dinner energy. The service was on point all night. Attentive, smooth, and genuinely warm. Now let's talk about the moment that activated my Dominican DNA. I ordered the Sweet Plantains with Cilantro Aioli as an appetizer and when I saw plátanos on that menu? República Dominicana presente. . I felt seen. For my main, I had the Temple Salad and added a burger patty (because balance is important ). Fresh, flavorful, satisfying. My son ordered a burger with truffle fries and I am STILL thinking about those fries today. Crispy. Perfect salt. That truffle flavor hit just right. Those fries deserve their own review. And because it was Valentine's Day and I believe in celebrating myself too, I had the Pineapple Express. Divine. Tropical. Smooth. The kind of drink that keeps the gozadera going. This is something you would get as part of your dinner experience in another restaurant. Especially none of the meals come with a salad. My appetizer was the Stacks. It was 4 slices of beet and a very small serving of Burrata. In was good, however it should have had a bigger portion of cheese. It was so small, you could not get the effect of the cheese. My main meal was the Pasta Board. I told the waiter that I didn't want the pasta on a board and wanted in bowls, which they did. I could not imagine eating this off a board. The sauces were good and the portion size for the red sauces good, however the white sauce was one was very small. For dessert I had the ice cream with espresso. Waitress said it came with seasonal vegetables to include squash etc, it didn't. It had kalamata olives and lots of capers. It made for a salty bite every time. I picked out all the capers. It was a very small portion of fish and risotto for $40. The farro salad, we added ahi tuna. Tuna had no flavor, no seasoning or crust. Very little farro or butternut, mostly lettuce. Cuban, heavy bread ratio. Otherwise was good. Three drinks were good: passionfruit mojito, guava coco margarita, were the average price for a drink out these days. The Oxford spritz was $25 dollars--that's insane... if we knew that price, would never have ordered. Apps: king pao dumplings, wish I took a picture -- they were beyond mini. Waste of money IMO. Yuca fries were a little undercooked to be creamy (we've had them other places better). Shrimp tacos were good. On a Friday night: only two tables outside were filled, 3 other tables inside besides ours from 630/830. When they first opened, you couldn't get in without a reservation as people were getting in to try it. My guess is people aren't returning. We wouldn't either unfortunately. Restaurant scene is competitive in Branford and for price and portion, it's just not gonna meet the mark--in my opinion
