We can't complain about photos - we never got that far. Sure his portfolio looks good and his price is right but here's the thing - his empathy and attitude toward us wasn't worth it. We are one of many couples who have had to change/cancel plans due to the 2020 pandemic. Most all our vendors have been very understanding and sympathetic as we have worked through this decision, many have even reimbursed some or all of our deposits. Not this vendor. During our communications with him regarding possible rescheduling or cancellation of our date we never felt him convey even a modicum of empathy toward us. On May 4th, after several emails regarding the situation, we let him know that we had made the difficult decision to cancel our June 7th wedding. He provided no feedback but did promptly "unfriend" my Fiancée. Let me be clear, the fact that our retainer was considered non-reimbursable was pretty easy for us to accept - it wasn't an enormous sum and we had the same experience with some other vendors. We understand that small businesses are struggling during this time. The issue we had was with how we felt he served us through our navigation of this crisis - as if our cancelling was a direct affront. VERY creepy dude!! We hired him for our wedding because he was cheap but wow, guess I know why now. He walked right into the bridesmaids and brides dressing room unannounced and was even told they were changing and not to go in there. He did anyway. Then at the reception he was asking my sister in law, several bridesmaids, cousins, basically any "pretty" girl to "model" for him. Then, he used the pictures for his own purpose, God knows what that is, then put them on Facebook. THEN, he took pictures of the two young girls who were working at the reception hall while they weren't paying attention. THEN, they made it onto our cd of our special day! Why do I have his creepyness on my computor now as well as the disk he sent us?! On top of all this he wouldn't stop talking about how pretty they were. I belive his exact words were, "Oh my God did you see those two blondes? Oh my Gawwd!". Mind you I WAS THE GROOM!!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS CREEPER!!! The pictures he took could've been taken by anybody with a decent smartphone with a camera. read more
