When speaking with the manufacturer's representative of the PVC sheeting company (Versico), he said everyone knows that you can't put PVC sheeting over asphalt as it will deteriorate within a year and that he did not like to see it happen and hated to say it but that we had gotten screwed. One roofing company we had stop by for a bid to replace the roof said they had never seen such a bad roofing job. There was much more wrong than just the PVC being on top of the tarred roof. Whenever we had concerns, we were gaslighted until we stopped explaining our concerns. We continually heard "take five roofers and you will get five different opinions" or "residential application is different than commercial application". Oregon Contractors Board's mediator worked out a deal between us in 2023.

creighton carper was recommended by brookings hearth & home to repair a ceiling hole created by the…read moreremoval of an 8" pellet stove pipe. he arrived on time, and quickly made and secured an 8x8 inch wallboard patch. he then replastered the seams, feathering out about 6 or so inches. he then said he would return in about 2 hours to texture the repair. he returned as promised and within an hour and a half the job was complete and ready for painting the following day. his texturing completely matched the original texture and after painting the following the day, the repair was virtually invisible. we highly recommend creighton.
