However, only one week before our wedding, we were assigned 'Anel,' whose work we had never seen. On our wedding day, the level of professionalism and quality of work was unacceptable: Lack of direction: There was little to no guidance on posing or lighting. The photographer made comments like, 'What was that?' or 'What's that face?' instead of providing constructive direction. Poor Technical Execution: Many family photos feature heavy, unflattering shade cast across faces. Across the entire collection, there is only one usable, direct shot of my husband and me facing the camera. Absenteeism: During the cocktail hour, which we hired the photographer to cover, the photographer was found sitting in the dressing room instead of actively taking candid photos of our guests. I actually had to seek out the photographer to initiate coverage of the event. Frankly, the final delivered collection lacked the quality and professional execution we would expect from a paid vendor. It felt like paying a friend to snap photos, not a professional with an understanding of lighting and composition. A further point of concern: not a single photo from our wedding has ever been featured on the company's website or social media. We anticipated a high level of work based on the company's advertised portfolio, and what we received fell far short of that professional standard.

Not only did she get the photos back insanely quick, but her product was more than I ever could have imagined. As someone who is not very photogenic, it was insane to see me! When we tried to book our photo session, they didn't respond to my multiple emails. Only after going to the website contact board in November did I get a response -- that they wouldn't be able to do our photos until April of this year!When I responded to their email asking to book a date I got no response again. It has now been over a year since I purchased the groupon and still no photos! $60 totally wasted. This is probably my fault, because we have another set of photographers that we love for our family photos. I wont be buying any deals like this again via Groupon or any of those deal sites!
