i was told the price would be one thing for may nails. the receipt said another price and then my bank statement had another price. no i didnt find days later.. i found as soon as i walked out the door my mobile app indicated to me the transaction. I immediatley went back into the salon where i was rudely treated bc they could explain to me why it was that way. now mind you i been going to this place since it opened when i was a liitle girl.. i dont live in Roxboro anymore but I drive to still support their business.. but Im talked to so rudely plus a copy of the original receipt thrown back at me.. My friend says they do a good job on their pedicures, but my experience on the phone prevented me from wanting to go. i'll give them the benefit of the doubt, since they don't speak good English. But I've never called a nail place that's done what they did. I called to make an appointment and they did answer my questions and made the appointment. But they did not take a name or anything. so I really wasn't sure how they would know it was me coming in. when I called back to ask some questions they ended up hanging up on me before I was even finished. a couple minutes later I called back to try to re-make an appointment to see if they take my name and they said that they were booked up for that day which was fine, since i had an appointment. But then it made me wonder if I would've walked in for my appointment that I had already made would they have taken me since they didn't get a name or anything. If your looking for an economy place to get your nails done then try here. **Note: If you have gel or powder nails they charge $5 to remove in addition to your nail charge. Its odd because every other nail place I have been to doesn't. You have a choice of 3 levels for both mani and pedi. They are antiquated in their chairs and equipment so if your looking for a relaxing experience your better off going to a newer or spa based place. The massage parts of the mani/pedi is a lathering with no actual pressure or massage. I gave three stars because the experience wasn't very relaxing and at times stressful. Overall it felt like I was getting the drive-through experience and wasn't able to relax. *While my feet soaked they sanded my powdered fingernails which of course started to get on my clothes rather than waiting until the mani table. *They also put a magazine on my lap with a bowl of acetone and had me soak my nails while doing my pedi. I was concerned about getting acetone on my lap and over soaking them. In the end my fingers were dried out as a result. *When I got to the mani table they had me hold my nails over a fan but left the light pole right in front of it. I dinged my nails a few times trying to crisscross and swap my hands between coats. This is a basic place that can meet your needs if you don't have high expectations for service, environment and experience. read more

I have been going to Rox nails since they opened many years ago and Jennifer used to do my nails and then when they opened Regal Nails Wal-Mart Jennifer's and Tina done my nails then she got me moved away and had the pleasure of Tony doing my nails I cannot say enough about Rox Nails Tina mazing and if you happen to go in and they're full new can always go right down to Walmart to Regal Nails and get your nails done down there and I recommend him to anybody there very flexible very friendly and they've always done me good they've done my daughter good and yes I even take my five-year-old granddaughter to get her fingernails and toenails painted and she loves it Anna always have to get my eyebrows done this well nothing better than having a fun day with your daughter and granddaughter getting your nails done getting a pedicure and just getting your eyebrows wax I recommend this place to everybody so wonderful atmosphere read more

Can't speak to their other services and they were nice enough, but if you are getting SNS go somewhere else. They either put gel over my SNS or completely gel. The place I regularly go was surprised when removing what they put on. read more
