The friendly receptionist / assistant always greets you with a smile and offers a drink, included with service. Alejandro is great and the assistant's wash & scalp massage always leave me refreshed... The overall experience keeps me coming back. I asked if either of them had availability for a walk in and they said yes and to go to their waiting area and that one of them would be right with me when they were done. I said great and went over to their waiting area. Their waiting area is "built in" bench seating that is very low to the ground and the cushions looked like they were from the 1980s. Normally, none of this would matter to me one bit and I would sit and wait with no issue. But today was different since I was just released from the hospital last week after having spinal surgery and being over 6 feet tall and with that bench being as low as it was, I knew that I couldn't sit there. So I went back over and explained to the barber closest to me that I just had spinal surgery last week and their waiting area seating isn't possible for me because its so low and very politely asked if I could sit and wait in one of the open barbers chairs while I waited. From which there were maybe 6-8 open chairs. To my complete and utter shock HE SAID NO! So I pleaded again letting them know that I am just a week out from spinal surgery. To which he again refused the request. At that point I told them that I would not give them my business and left. I feel that this experience is important to share being that I am also a parent of a child with special needs. This establishment might not be the best fit if you or your child is in need of any accommodations even those that are of the most reasonable request.
