Just moved from Greenville to New Bern recently and I haven't been able to find a barber at the moment. I have tried different shops and they were decent but not the quality I been looking for. Randomly one Saturday I was dropping off a package at UPS just to see that there was a barber shop next door. I'm usually not a walk in kind of guy but I was like "f*** it". I must say they didn't disappoint, the fade was clean and definitely fresh me up. They do appointments and I'll gladly go back. I didn't get the name of the gentleman but it was the second seat on the right. Only thing I would say is if you're in a rush maybe talk to the barber about the time because I was in there for a good hour but hey what else did I have plan for the day anyways, nothing so no big deal for me ‍ read more

Worst place to get a cut, unless you got all day to sit down for a mediocre haircut. Waited 1 hour, left to get my kids food because they were taking so long...came back a hour later and we are still in the queue (electronic iPad check in)...still had one person ahead of us. Mind you...it would have already been 2.5 hrs sitting down waiting because they still had someone in the chair. So we waited for him to finish the person ahead of us, because we should be next...then when the barber finishes...they skip us and call the next person. I ask what is going on if we were next...they say, well you did you leave. I say yeah and came back. Then he says well you left in your car so now you gotta wait again. Straight BS! read more

I wish I could give these guys 10 stars. I came here right after another barbershop messed up my haircut and immediately got greeted. The barber who took care off me was Omar, and let me tell you, he did wonders with my heinous haircut. He somehow managed to preserve my med skin fade after carefully fixing every single imperfection. Having had quality barbers throughout my whole life, both in San Diego and Puerto Rico, I gotta say that these guys are amazing at what they do. They are the epitome of professionalism. And yes, they are slow, but for good reason. Since when a great haircut is done quickly? Attention to detail is key, especially for a guy like me. Kudos to these guys and I'll be their client during my time stationed here in NC. Highly and enthusiastically recommend them. read more

The good: The proprietor, Tony, does a good haircut. He's relatively efficient and has a good patter. The bad: The place is a bit of a zoo when you get any more than three people in the waiting area. There is no system for who is going to see who and that is something this place badly needs. The ugly: when I came in today (my second visit) to see Tony there was one other person in line (i'm not sure which of the three barbers he was here to see) and one in the chair. As I waited for him to finish with the one individual several other people filed in to the too small waiting area. As the one person's cut concluded and he's paying some other person who came in several minutes after myself hops into the seat. Tony did not tell individual that I was ahead of him or remedy the problem. I'm not into making scenes so I got up and strolled on out. I'll find another barber. I'll probably use the guys downtown - they look like an actual classy outfit. read more

Extremely SLOW, they have a list when you walk in the barber but no one follows it so there is no order at all. I will not bring my son here again!! read more

Great barbershop. This is definitely the best place in the area to get a haircut. The shop is very clean and up kept. The waiting area is nice, with plenty of TVs. The staff is professional and polite. I've gotten a haircut from most of the barbers. Gio is who I regularly go to, and I highly recommend him. He does a great job and takes pride in his work and it shows. I'll definitely continue to go here as long as I'm living in the area. read more

My go-to barber in New Bern. Great staff, local feel, great conversations, and a perfect haircut every time. Great fades. Big supporter of military, offer a discount, and have "military only" Sunday's. read more

Do not go here. The barbers are always on their phones, distracted by what's on TV, and take entirely too long for a less than average haircut. Results are poor quality and it seems they don't seem to have proper training. Not worth the time or the money. read more

Over all the place isn't too bad. They have been my regular barber for about 3 years. Many of the barbers do a pretty good job, they are mostly just a little slow. Make sure you have 30 minutes for a regular 5-10 min cut. They all do military cuts pretty well also, but it's not all to the same standard. Some guys cut closer and better, so be careful. The Hispanic guy named "G", I think is by far the best. Don't believe the"military only" Sundays. That isn't true and it's a little frustrating having to wait for little kids. Not a high class place, but for 8 bucks it's worth it and worth supporting. read more
