Made a rather large error on my tax filing for 2020 calendar year. I brought the IRS letter in and…read moretheir comment was everybody makes mistakes. They did pay for the interest levied on the amount which was not much considering the amount they missed. I asked about waving this years tax prep fees due to the error from last year and they said no. Their response is "well you would have to have paid that anyway". That may be true, but I would not be paying that large amount this year along with the taxes I will paying for 2021 if not for their error. Waiving the processing fee would have been a way to say sorry about the mistake and we want to continue to earn your business. They do not seem to care to much about customer service.
