The other rooms were occupied, but you never heard them. A day before arriving Dehlia, the owner, sent an email request that we call her about an hour before we arrive at the Inn. As she doesn't reside there. First problem: When we arrived there was a price difference, as there were three of us, two adults and one child. When booking and filling out the online forms, which I have done hundreds of times before, I marked two adults and an 8 year old child. We were quoted $369.51 by hotel.com. She charged us $403.41, as she said she charges extra for the Rollaway, which costs an extra $33.90 for three night stay. Since we were tired from our two day drive and tense because of the funeral we were coming for the next day, I paid the difference. Second problem: When checking in she took us to our room. She showed more concern about showing us how the door locks work, as if we were dummies, never telling us we don't get daily maid service. And to our disappointment next day after getting back from the funeral, we found that housekeeping had not come. My wife called her that night at 8:30pm. Dehlia said they do not provide daily service. And they only give fresh towels on request. Except we had already thrown all the dirty towels on the floor and certainly weren't going to use them again. We told her we also had garbage overflowing and had no idea we were supposed to look after that too. We didn't see any garbage bins to dump it in outside. She said there was a dumpster behind the greenhouse. All this would have been nice to know beforehand instead of how to work the simple door lock!!! The next morning as we were heading out for a day trip . She came to do our room . She tried to explain with an excuse that she doesn't offer daily maid service to keep the lower rates and that most people that check in want their privacy. She also said she should put up post up sign saying so. As for the price I could gotten a place in Chilliwack with two queen bed for $89.00 a night with fridge and microwave. Her kitchenette had no microwave. This is a nice quiet little place with proper information and correct pricing it would have been great place to stay for us . This is a good place for a family of two adults and child the most but not any larger. It is better for a couples retreat for a weekend . No liquor or beer store, restaurant is closed and the Motel and restaurant is for sale.

Daughter and I were headed to nearby 'Spring Park', and had stopped 'in & out' of our regular route to look for unseen sights along the way. This place, a large chalet-style, log home, and its setting alongside the Miami River, really looked great, but we were only able to catch some views from the outside. The home, and separate units within, are for rent. I'm not sure if we would wish to consider such an arrangement for future lodging during a stay in Harrison Hot Springs, or not, but we sure liked what we saw at this time.

My daughters arranged for a surprise get away for my 65th birthday. We stayed at this four bedroom/three bathroom log cabin. The place was immaculate with a games room loft, huge dining room, kitchen and family area. Also, two balconies (one with a gas BBQ) and fully grassed front and back yard. The kitchen has very up to date appliances. Two flat screens if you need some down time and an air hockey table if you don't. All this and only a five minute walk from Harrison Lake! If you need or want first rate accommodations for eight to ten people I would highly recommend this property.

How convenient is that?! The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you could want when staying away from home. Brenda went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed at the house and her cooking was delicious! In the evenings we enjoyed a nice fire and sat around with our new found friends. It was literally a home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Roy's breakfasts paired with Kristy's baking make a perfect combo. Nothing cooked from a box and all freshly made. The rooms are clean and spacious and the amenities are tremendous. Once again, the 'City Centre' provided a well-located, convenient, and comfortable spot for us during a stay in Hope. It was nice to see everyone once again -- owners, housekeeping staff, and the many, up close & personal contacts made with 'Sushi', the owner's wonderful black lab!!

We had planned to arrive in time for a "brew & something" snack to share, and it worked out well -- we pulled into their parking lot shartly after 11 am, perfect timing for both. They have a small, outside patio, but we chose to sit at a table inside, to see and absorb some of the views not seen before. And with some friendly, and helpful service, our drink and food orders were made quickly, and on their way. With cool, draught brews for daughter and I, ice water for Mom, and a huge, full order of nachos for the three of us to share, we did good. And much-enjoyed our first-time visit, and colourful, fun, road stop to the pub at 'Sasdquatch Inn'.

This is a review of the B&B and of the golf course…read more The bed and breakfast is located next to the golf course and is owned by the the same family that owns the course. Best described as a resort. It is located out of the way from Harrison Hot Springs and it is in a tranquil and quiet area next to the Harrison River. The original house on the property has been renovated, and a golf course was added by the descendants of the original owner of the property. The main house has been renovated so that each room is a guest room. In addition, each room bears one of the names of the original ancestral occupants of the house. There are also cottages that are available for overnight stays. The cottages are separate from the main guest house and is nestled a little more into the forest that surrounds this property. Dinning is offered by the River's Edge Restaurant, that also serves the Sandpiper Golf course patrons. Foodwise, it is OK. The Sandpiper Golf Course is a very nice place for a round. It runs along the Harrison River on a couple of holes and also has old growth trees on a few others. There is also an airstip near one, possibly two holes. Don't knock you balls onto the airstrip, it is OB! I've seen planes land there on ocassion. A very nice place for an escape from the city, or for a round of golf. I've played here several times.

We returned at 3:10 and managed to get in while another party was leaving. We were prepaid and confirmed, but didn't manage to get checked in for 30 minutes. The room was unheated, furniture was a mish mash of incompatible styles. The hotel and room were locked by home style combination locks and the front desk was mostly empty. We've stayed in classic hotels all over the Western world; we can remember only one as limited as this one.

That's just my own personal preference, being from Vancouver where we all feel rushed when going out to eat. This place is more laid-back and casual. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and it was pretty decent - the portion of yam fries with my burger was huge - plenty for sharing with the rest of the table. I prefer to go by my grandma's experience more than mine, because I felt that she is more of the target customer as she lives in the area, not to mention she knows what other places nearby are like in comparison. She loved the soup and sandwich combo and said that the coffee was really good - and as long as my grandma is happy, then I'm happy, too. I liked that the server brought out crayons and colouring pages for my little nephews to entertain them while we waited for our food. It's not a typical place I would end up at, but I enjoyed my lunch. I would really like to give 3.5 stars, but for what it is, I'll bump them up a notch rather than knock one off. This is not fine dining, nor is it a trendy over-priced, establishment. But I wouldn't hesitate to go back with my grandma next time I'm in the area.
