This post office not really bad for…read morethe services because they have 4 cashier, but never go there on the Friday evening before they close or 30 minutes before they close because you can be stuck on the queue and sometime you can wait outside the door if so you can wait your turn for more than 30 minutes, but if you go there not on the busy day this post office so quick give you services. The place is not to bad clean and tidy. If you go there for send your post or something else you must remember the time otherwise you can wait so long.

Altogether there are three counters, though usually only one person serving unless it is a busy day (e.g. Monday). There are often queues because of this, though I have never waited more than 15-minutes to be served. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful, and do not do the annoying cross-selling of their products so much as in some other Post Offfices I have been to. Overall this is a nice little Post Office. I just hope that it is not targeted for closing down as there is not another within the area so it would be a shame for the local people to lose it.

Think Biros and Pritt Stick. Sometimes the staff can seem a bit moody but they do their job and things get sent to the right places. I do look past the moodyness because lets face it, I'm sure you would be pretty miserable if you worked in the Post Office in Bensham of all places. Watch out for the dodgy afternoon closes.

If you take your item before they close or 30 minutes they close so have long queue then take up to 30 minutes to go take your items. The office is very small, if have queue you can wait outside on the door. They just have 2 people to manage or take item on the storage area. You need some indentity take your item. For the service they have good Staff. Clean and tidy place but for parking is not really big place.

I had not been here long when, as I walked up to the counter, I was recognised and welcomed in a way that made me instantly feel like I had lived here all my life. This post office is an absolute godsend to the people of south hetton and long may it continue. I moved away from east sussex where sadly every single local post office closed which to most peoples horror only left the main one in the centre of town, which was very inconveient and always full to bursting and often had queus out the door and up the road!
