Llanelli Royal Mail is Extremely unreliable, spent countless days waiting in for parcels that arrive days late. Also had parcels go missing, including a mobile phone that I'd bought for my son's bday that took almost 2 months to sort out. I avoid using Royal Mail to send parcels and avoid companies that use Royal Mail to deliver. Very poor service! read more

It's a joke! You can not get intouch with these pepole! they send a card through your door telling you to call them to arrange delivery and they dont answer! I have had this problem for years! What is the point having the phone if they dont answer!!! read more

This Royal mail office is the main sorting office in Llanelli. Its located behind Llanelli police station. It does not have anywhere to park although most people tend to park outside on the yellow lines to briefly pick up their parcels. The staff are helpful although it is worth remembering if you are picking up recording or special delivery items to take identification. This office does not offer all services of a normal post office but you can purchase stamps here and drop off parcels. They are open until six on weekdays and one on a Saturday, closed on Sundays. read more

Absolutely appalled at the service in this depot have waited or had people wait at my property for parcels that were due to arrive and still haven't almost a week later. Their excuse, they can't leave it with a neighbour or there was no one in my property! Poppycock! Not only that I paid customs charges on one of my parcels a week ago and nominated delivery for a day I was in, not only did the parcel NOT arrive but they are claiming on their 'sophisticated' tracking service, that I still haven't paid the customs charges despite the fact the money has left my account and I have an email from them saying they received the payment! On a final note, complaints service is a joke, of the two times I have actually phoned them I have been hung up on once with no call back and all they do/ offer is to try and make sure it doesn't happen again. And if you want to complain make sure you have time on your hands because both times I phoned I was on hold for nearly 40mins each time. They might as well start paying me a wage if I have to keep driving to their office to collect my things.. don't know why I even bother paying for the service. If I could give negative stars my keyboard would probably break before I was done entering the negatives. read more

Write your review of Royal Mail So I did Last year the birthday card from my sister did not get delivered because it was 3p overweight. For the sake of 3p the birthday card was returned to my sister, I was told. I don't know how they did that as she never puts a return address on the envelope or inside. Returned to sender means ripped up and put in a bin, if the Post Office TV documentary is true. I had the choice of using my car to go to the Sorting/Delivering Centre, to pick up the card, using about £2 of fuel pay them a £1.10 fine plus the 3p that that was due on the postage or go without. Thank you Royal Mail, and all your staff, I'll send you a card of condolence when you do get screwed by the Government's privatisation scheme. The Royal Mail is the most un-helpful of all the services. Not the regular postman/woman/person but the Royal Mail parcel delivery. He runs up to my front door, taps the door as lightly as he can so I don't hear it, then puts a pre-written P739 form through the letter box, making sure he just entered the Time in the appropriate box. Then he runs for his life in case by some slight chance I have managed to get downstairs in time. And he might have to do what he is paid to do 'deliver the parcel' I can't 'phone out' to get them to redeliver next day. My only alternative is to wait for Royal Mail to return it to the sender then get onto them by email to arrange delivery by anyone but 'The Royal Mail', others wait for you to open the to take the parcel. How do I know the Royal Mail Parcel Postman runs for his life in case by some slight chance I have managed to get downstairs, in spite of my bad leg? Because I have seen him from my bedroom CCTV camera that records. I have wondered at the speed he carries my urgent parcel back to the van and slings it in the back to return it to the Llanelli Delivery Office. Hussein Bolt could not have got back to that Royal Mail Parcel Van in that time. I wonder what is more important than doing the job he is paid to do 'delivering parcels' perhaps he was in the middle of something 'Really important' like the game of cards that was interrupted when he was told to deliver my parcel. I have many, many, times told the staff at the Llanelli Delivery Office exactly where the 'Safe Place' to leave parcels is. But they are never left there. I even printed out a waterproof label to put through the letterbox. Quicker than printing out a P739 form. So with the absolute frustration of Royal Mail Parcel Delivery (now I use this word loosely) Service, I have written out a message to put on my door : - ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Dear Royal Mail Parcels delivery, I have shown you the 'safe place' to leave parcels, I have phoned Llanelli sorting office many times and asked for parcels to be left in my 'safe place to leave parcels' with exact instructions. If you insist on making your job harder by returning the parcels back to the Llanelli Sorting/Delivery office then please return to the sender and I will apply for a refund of my purchase as 'Goods not delivered' or ask them to re-send with a different delivery service. I will no longer be using my car to collect parcels from Llanelli Delivery/Sorting office if you can not be bothered to put same parcels in the 'Safe Place'. I sympathise with your plight, regarding the Tory plan to privatise the Post Office, and possibly putting some 'Post-persons and Persons who deliver parcels, out of work. I hate them too, the Tory ideal, 'Profit before People', is all that is wrong with UK. But to punish customers will only lose you support in the fight against privatisation ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Do you think it will do any good? No nor me. read more

Disgusting Attitude - Called 01554 778166 - Obnoxious employee who refused to give his name and refused to investigate a missing parcel on this number, which was provided by Royal Mail, as it was for staff only....wouldn't give me the correct number to call either..... If they'd done their job correctly in the first place I wouldn't be calling them..... read more
