Sparsely decorated inside with little extras the staff are really friendly and helpful and always give you a service with a smile. As you would expect with a local post office the branch rarely gets busy and often you can walk up to the counter and get immediately served a huge plus point. Car Parking is available at the rear of the post office but I have had trouble finding a space to park. If you are in the area and need to post a letter or a parcel don't bother going to the city centre but give this local post office your custom it would be a shame to see it go.

As well as offering the usual post office services, this shop also sells cards and handbags. Yes, handbags! I give them full marks for initiative as no-one else on Park Crescent sells them so they have found a gap in the market. There are lots of parking spaces in the nearby side streets and there are regular buses serving this shopping area. Barry Railway Station is a 15 minute walk away.

This Post Office is an area with a few shops, a chemist, a vets, a post office, a post box, bus…read morestops - but from experience busses that are the best is the 52 or the 52a. They tend to have a long gap in between the time of arrival for each bus that arrives here. You can go from there and change in Albany RD or Wellfield if you should need to. It is about fifteen minutes up to half an hour from town and even less from the Penylan area and Albany RD area. You can walk to it from Penylan area, but it does take 50 minutes. I recommend to all if you stay near to the area. The Post Office is useful if you do not want to treck all the way into town to post your parcel or letter.

I use this post office regularly as it is quite close to me, I never have to queue very long and the staff always smile. Usual post office activities of stamps, sending letters, parcels etc, pay bills, get cash at the counter, greetings cards for sale and also a small grocery section for your forgotten items or top up shopping. No car tax facility at this office though so I have to travel further to an alternative office.
