Glasgow is rather spoiled for orchestras, and the RSNO are excellent. Sometimes going traditional, other times seeking out newer work, they are well-funded and very professional. In the near future, they will be hitting some Wagner and some Beethoven, bringing their quality ensemble playing and star solo performers to the fore, again.
