There is also plenty of parking in the lot in front of the restaurant. The restaurant inside looks recently remodeled. The layout is spacious and there is plenty of seating. We were happy to see they offer lunch specials starting at $8.99! I ordered the chicken chow mein lunch special with egg flower soup. The meal came with an egg roll and a side of rice. Everything was delicious! Not greasy and not overly sweet. Lately those are the two big things that deter me from Chinese food. But this meal was delicious! I had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day! My friend ordered the orange beef. I never order beef at Chinese restaurants because it tends to be too gamey and chewy for my taste but I tried a slice of her meal and it was delicious! I recommend trying the orange beef as that is the meal I will be ordering from now on. The only bummer was I had a free soda coupon for checking in on Yelp. We ordered five dishes: Salt-n-pepper porkchop, teriyaki chicken, honey walnut mayo shrimp, beef chow mein, and Szechuan eggplant. We wanted the duck but they were sadly out. My favorite was the salt-n-pepper porkchop. Really seasoned well and crispy with flavor. Good portions for $13. Next would be the beef chow mein, large portions and very generous with the beef. I enjoyed the Szechuan eggplant as it wasn't too spicy and came with onions and bell peppers. The honey walnut mayo shrimp was good too. Last would be the teriyaki chicken. It was slightly cold and a little to saucy for my liking. Even with all the sauce I will say it wasn't overly salty. Service was friendly for the most part and we waited about 16 minutes for the first dish and after that all dishes came out back to back. Wait wasn't that long. Placed an order online for pick up in 20 minutes. Since I'm only 10 minutes away, this is perfect. I actually got there a couple minutes early. When I arrive, there was a customer in front of me who seemed confused over what she ordered, but the employee behind the register was very calm and I "think" got the customer to understand what was going on. Good job to the employee. I told her I had a pickup and my food was already sitting out on the counter. It honestly bothered me a little that the food was just sitting there, and made me wonder for how long? I know this is common now a days, but I still wish they kept food under a heat lamp or something to keep it warm. Anyway, back home and the food was served. Portions were family size as expected and was pretty good. I would definitely say it's a notch above quick service Chinese restaurants where the food does sit under heat lamps, but can also sit there for hours. With food prices going up, we are eating out less so this place would be an occasional visit, but we would order from here again. There wasn't a bunch of batter and a tiny shrimp. It was a good sized shrimp! The peeking duck was good too! It wasn't oily. The only complaint I have is for the amount of duck we could've used about 2-3 more bao buns. But the duck and rice and is always good too! Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by this place! Today I enjoyed the Orange Beef which is crispy yet tender, no small feat! And this version has more orange flavor than I have ever found in the dish elsewhere. So very good! I also had the Mixed Vegetables. When I ordered it with "no baby corn" the server looks aghast and said "We don't put that in this dish!" Yes! Yes! Yes! Now truth be told the customer service could use some help.
