Update: The arrangement was delivered today. The good thing is that they won't leave an arrangement outside in this hot weather. They were able to get in touch with my friend and delivered a gorgeous arrangement. It was exactly what I wanted, the same flowers and container as in the online photo... but it looked even better that that! ------------- Sent an arrangement that was not delivered, despite receiving an email that it was delivered. I received an email earlier in the morning that said they were unable to deliver but would try again. Received an email later saying that they had successfully delivered the arrangement. Two days later, I had not heard from the recipient (who would have sent some kind of thank you)... only to find that the arrangement was never delivered. It was SO EMBARRASSING to ask my friend if they'd received the surprise arrangement. read more

I've generally had OK experiences here, but ordering a simple corsage/boutonnière was a debacle. Employees seemed confused both taking the order and then finding the items when we arrived to pick them up. It took two employees 20 minutes of frantic searching to locate the boutonnière. Also, both items were heavily shellacked with glitter--not ordered, not desired. When we asked about it, the response was: "Oh, it's prom--everything has glitter on it." I ordered flowers here for my wife's anniversary. I went into the shop to design my order which included picking out the flowers and vase I wanted and then the gal behind the counter would put it all together. I paid for everything on the counter and it was quite clear (I assumed wrong, explanation later) what I was paying for, so I did, I left with the expectation the gal behind the counter would put together the arrangement we agreed upon and what I ultimately paid for. So I left the store to complete my errands, returning 2-hours later. When I arrived I immediately noticed the arrangement was without 60 to 70% of the primary anniversary flower I had picked and paid for earlier. So I then proceeded to ask why my arrangement was so limited, the gal behind the counter (new girl) proceeded to play it that what was sitting in front of me was what I had ordered. She was cold and made me the customer feel like I was crazy for noticing the mistake they had made. Unfortunately the gal who put together my arrangement had left for the day, so no help there. I was told it would be over 20 minutes until the original girl would be able to return. Now I have to wait 20 minutes for her to return, tell me where's the justice in me waiting, why not put the flowers in for which I paid for, that's what I would have done. So in what little experience I have in customer service sales, I was always trained that the customer is right (of course within reason) which means that person will be a repeat customer. I paid for what both parties agreed upon and when it was pointed out that my arrangement was lacking significantly from what was agreed upon (actually paid for), you freaking add a few more flowers, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!!! Then the nerve of the gal to call and then tell me I must wait 20 min until the original girl who helped me returned from home. Honestly, what a joke and there was their second chance to do the right thing, Royers did not!!!!! So here is my complaint and warning to consumers of the Royers, Hershey store. Beware of what you pay for, do not get ripped-off like I did. Their approach is to cheat you of what you paid for and then make you pay more for what you already paid for, HUH (insert a Lewis Black type moment here)!!!!!! THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!!!! The flower arrangements I ordered for a bridal shower were beautiful. Royer's in Hershey gets only 4 stars because they failed to follow instructions about packaging the arrangements to be transported. They filled vases to the top with water, but I didn't see that inside the packaging. I ended up with about a quart of water spilled over favors and other shower supplies on the way to the event. The mat from the back of the SUV has been drying out for 3 days. read more

The advertised special out front was for a dozen roses at 7.99 but then at check out, I was charged the full price. When I asked about the posted signs with the special, the individual did not adjust the amount and basically was agitated by the observation. My past experiences at this Royers were always very positive, but I am sorry to say that this particular visit was not up to the high standards. read more

even though they are part of a local chain they are very friendly and have a small town feel. the have a kids club you can be a part of. they have different times during the year that they teach the kids flower arrangements. they make it fun and interesting. read more
