Followed closely by Vintage Village Antique Mall, Aardvark Antiques, Burlington Antiques, and Timeless Treasures in Lincoln NE. All of these shops are worth stopping at and checking out! The co-op carries the antiques of around 9 different dealers, and as a result there is a wide range of options, and a wide range of prices. One of the benefits of the co-op is that the dealers are also the rotating cashier staff so you can often haggle their prices, or have them contact off-site dealers to negotiate. If you are checking out an especially pricey piece, many dealers will even let you pay in installments. Their hours can be inconvenient, but if you can navigate the schedule it is extremely worth the effort.

People everywhere line up for RSD each year, some hours in advance. And you know what, if you're first in line, those record stores reward your time and dedication. Well, not Lefty's. If you get there early and you're the very first person in a long line, as I was, it means absolutely nothing to them. I lined up for RSD this morning, before anyone else. But when they opened, Lefty's let everyone in at the same time and it was an absolute cluster*uck. There was absolutely no order whatsoever. Nobody from Lefty's bothered to communicate any type of operational procedure for the event. And the RSD releases were just randomly set out in boxes for the horde of people to fight over. Lefty's handling of this event was so disorganized and unprofessional. I won't be making plans to go there at any point in the future. Good riddance!

The really neat…read morething is that when they have higher end items come in, or handcrafted items like a quilt or crocheted lace tablecloth, they have a silent auction method. You are assigned a bid number, and there is a book with the item listed on a page. You write in your bid with your bidder number. When seven days have passed since the last bid, the high bidder wins. I was able to purchase a lovely, hand quilted quilt at a very reasonable price this way. The staff is extremely nice, too.
