Never seen this many liquid deaths
    Cami L.

Have already been twice already in one week! Love that everything is plant based and still tastes good! The OG was fantastic, my husband even compared it to in n out which we love. The seasoning on the fries is also delicious esp paired with the ruby sauce which is a little sweet a little tangy but great on everything! The first time I tried the aloha which was a "chicken" patty rather than a burger with grilled pineapple and jalapeños! Everything we've had so far is amazing so I know we'll be back again. And who knew liquid death had so many flavors! I love having options and seeing them all in one place makes me want to try them all!

Coming in to this, I had high expectations given its high review score but I should have been a bit more cautious. I'm giving it 3/5 because it's not bad per se - just ok- but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to go there again. As other reviews noted, there is nothing to drink except liquid death which is about $3 a can. There are no other options. I asked if we could have regular water, like tap water to drink and was directed to the can. Begrudgingly I got some. They were good but I didn't want to spend much more than I already did. The food is ok. Not great. Not terrible. Just okay. I took a picture of the burger patty as a reference. You can really see where the shreds of protein are. Texture wise, it wasn't great. Not really crispy. Didn't feel high quality. I had the Benedict, which was like eggs Benedict on the burger. The eggs were good. The bun was great (it was a croissant-type roll that was crispy and buttered). The hollandaise sauce was very strongly lemon rind flavored. I was not a fan. The ham slice in between the burger patties was okay- kind of reminded me of spam. I was disappointed in that the burger patties just didn't remind me of a burger as much as they did a veggie patty I got at Aldi. The burgers do NOT come with sides. The sides are reasonably priced but still, a bit of a shock for a $16 burger not to come with fries or something. We dined in. The table was sticky. It did not seem that the table was dirty- it seemed like that was the coating from the finish on the table which is a bizarre choice. I had to peel the napkin off at the end of the meal. Maybe they're in the middle of redecorating, so I gave them a bit of a pass for it but one of the walls has bits of tape all over it from where things may have been hung up. Just a bit odd. Overall, I would say check this place out only if you REALLY want a vegan only burger and there are no other options you can find. If you do opt for this restaurant, I suggest carry out.

This joint is still amazing. It is so relaxing to walk into a restaurant, now featuring indoor dining, and be able to order anything on the menu without asking any questions. This seems stupid, perhaps, but being vegan in Tulsa, this is the only place one can do this. The food is top notch, the service is above and beyond, the location is great. The s/o and I have tried almost everything on the menu, twice, and everything is always and consistently delicious. We always look forward to heading back or having it delivered. This place is a Tulsa gem and has been since it opened its doors. My meaty friends enjoy this place as well.

The ever loved and wildly popular Ruby D's Burger Joint in downtown Tulsa off 4th and Main. It's no surprise there's so many awards on the wall when your food looks and tastes this good. What is surprising, maybe, but not really, is that's it's all plant based!! Vegan Junk Food they say! Where I'm a meat eater, I like having variety and options available for myself and everyone else. What I can say is that what I've had, from they truck in BA to what I had when they were testing the waters at Mother Road market, is that it's always been incredibly yummy, well thought and crafted and just fun to eat!! The tots just banging!! So much flavor in the chili and cheese and it really feels pretty damn close to the real thing. I got jalapeños and added some hot sauce and dude, an explosion of flavor!! The hot wings are made with cauliflower and obviously don't taste or feel like meat, but have enough resistance and texture, it was still just fine. I really enjoyed the breading and sauce used on these. Incredibly filling and equally satisfying. I love the vibe of this spot and it's so well placed on downtown and also, they're open until 10!!!

    Mac Bombs The Fat Elvis

I ordered the Elvis burger and the mac and cheese balls and they were both so delicious. I am visiting from Cali and I am sad we don't have a Ruby Ds there. I'm so happy I found this place it's not often you find vegan option like this anywhere. 10/10 filthy delicious good comforting junk food

Let me preface this by saying I am not vegan. That said, I was intrigued when I heard about this place. The service was excellent, and the staff are so friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The decor gives off eclectic diner vibes. I tried the OG burger and fries. The burger had so much flavor. The fries...I need to know what seasoning they use. It is so delicious. Ruby sauce is divine, and I use it on the burger and my fries. Overall, this is an excellent spot. It's my favorite burger joint.

El Jefe Burger with Mac Bombs

Plant based! At first glance you see burger joint and think beefy burgers but as soon as you walk in you're greeted and quickly informed everything is plant based. Pretty sure they must bump into a lot of puzzled people but that didn't scare me and I got my guys to order too and I thought it was all delicious. Of course, it's not going to be that thick, beefy, juicy texture but my El Jefe was perfectly seasoned and had a good combo of ingredients that worked well. I would suggest possibly adding some butter to help with moistening the patty but honestly I love that we're eating pretty healthy and clean. The Mac balls were BOMB! My guys act like they weren't intrigued but they ate it all up. Drinks are all canned Death drinks which is tough because you can't taste them beforehand. Hubby got the mock root beer and son got the sweet tea and, unfortunately they were not fond of them. I on the other hand loved my water. Service is super sweet and she's upfront and gives you the opportunity to walk out if you prefer once she told us everything was plant based. Plenty of seats, open upbeat concept and not a very long wait.

    "bacon" and "beef" patty

Super misleading. Had "100 % plant based" in the smallest font and called their burgers beef, chicken, and bacon toppings despite containing no meat. Referred to cheese as cheese without specifiying that it was actually a yellow concoction of bs. Also very unfulfilling, we left just as hungry as we came in. Ive never eaten a burger before and still been hungry after, and Ive had bean based and mushroom based patties before (which were properly labeled as not containing meat). Very overpriced. The people next to us were also fooled. The business is purposely misleading to nonvegans to maintain business. It should be illegal to call that mess a burger joint.

Food definitely hits the spot. Classic burgers and fixings done to perfection. Super helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of seating, clean facilities. All the vegan goodness!

this was long long overdue as i finally made my way to ruby d's burger joint. the burgers & chicken sandwiches on the menu had me second guessing. i kept going back & forth between the tcb, gabe-inator, giddyup... just to name a few. after all, i went with the aloha. outside of the chicken, the sandwich is topped with grilled pineapple, jalapeno, ruby sauce & bacon. there are some places that'll have their sandwich listed with such & will have the extra toppings on it (lettuce, tomato & onion), ruby d's puts exactly what's listed on the menu (major plus for me). the sandwich was very good, it's something i'd order again. i always like pineapple & jalapeno, i couldn't say when's the last time i had them together as part of a sandwich, i love the combination of the two. the bun tasted toasted while the sauce & bacon just brought everything together. subtle sweet flavors through each bite, got better every bite. they have a handful of sauces to choose from, i went with the honey mustard for my fries. i placed an order over the phone, i went in to pick up and the lady was super nice over the phone & at the place. i'm 1000% coming back. there was way too many to choose from to just tryout once. also, everything is plant based!!!!!

I was in Tulsa from Kansas City to see the Outsiders Tour and heard about this place which was conveniently just a block away from my hotel. Some of the best Vegan/Plant based burgers I have ever had. The tots were also next level! They have Gluten free buns (that don't suck) which make a food allergy girlie like me very happy. Me and my daughter both were very pleased with our food. The prices were also amazing and we left absolutely stuffed. I can not recommend this place more!

I walked to a "burger joint" and only when I arrived did I learn it's vegan. Wtf. That's not a burger.

Much better than before!!! I ate at this place a few times…read morewhen they first opened and I vowed never to go back for several reasons. After a quick recent Yelp search this place kept popping up as number 1 in the area so I broke down and tried the restaurant again. It was nearly a completely different experience! The pita bread is probably the best I've ever had. The portion size has much improved. The mix & match plate options are more balanced. I love I can order a LARGE tabouli salad! The garlicky potatoes have always been delightful. They packed all of the things I paid for and curbside was literally instant. I WILL return many times if this restaurant keeps up these new changes. I suspect the restaurant is under new management or something.

A friend of mine was posting this spot heavy the past few months. I was in the area & before…read moreheading back home, my partner & I wanted to order some food & Meddy's popped up. I went with the Falafel Shawarma (when it comes to Mediterranean food & it's my first time visiting, I usually try their Falafel before I try anything else). They have a lot to choose from because I almost went with a couple of other things (that I'll come back for). Their falafel consists of: "Garbanzo and fava beans blended with spices and fried until crispy" along with tahini & pickled turnips being on deck. I enjoyed the falafel in each bite. I'd ask for extra tahini next time (speaking of which... I just found out you can buy their sauces bottled at 8 & 12oz). The spices were subtle. I didn't have a big appetite to the point I didn't get a side, if I had space for one, I would've ordered the garlic potatoes, house rice or lentil soup. We went on a Sunday (after 6pm) & it was pretty business inside & curbside. Located inside one of the newer plazas in Tulsa with other local businesses. Side Note: I want to try all of their bowls & the Banging Beef Shawarma.
