What a joke. Just look at how dirty it is in here when you walk in. I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. Brought my family here once, they weren't busy but they couldn't figure out where to seat us so it gave me some time to let my eyes wander. Pulled my wife aside and pointed out the filth to her. Husband & I were staying in Fort Myers for the weekend & were craving a nice big fresh salad so we thought about Ruby Tuesday. We arrived shortly before 9 pm & was surprised to see the restaurant so empty. We got a great booth & the salad bar was very good, clean & fresh. Definitely satisfied our craving! I've been to Ruby Tuesday's restaurants all over the United States, and went primarily for their salad bar for which they are well-known. This Ruby Tuesday's is by far the worst Ruby Tuesday's I've ever been to. Service is hit or miss at best. Heaven for bid you have a problem with service or food, and would like to speak with the manager. I had such a terrible experience I had to call corporate and complain about it. The only reason I gave them to stars is because their salad bar is still the same, and their bathrooms are super clean. read more

Had the bbq pork chop with mashed potatos and grilled zuch. It was pretty awesome. Also had a glass of mango tea and it had actual chunks of mango in it. A little bit on the sweet side for me but you can always ask them to add water after you drink it down a bit. Service was slightly above average. Went in To eat here it was so bad ! The salad was wilted /old, the burger had a foul smell like it was rotting , waitress was in a bad mood acted like I was trying to get a free meal. We celebrated one year of dating by returning to this Ruby Tuesday where we had our first date. We shared the full rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad. Brian was our waiter. He was excellent, and the food was superb. Since we went fairly early on a Monday - during season - and we'd made a reservation, we didn't have to wait. But it was busy! Spoke to the manager and she gave us some lame excuse that the waitresses can't make the biscuits because of some FL labor laws. I didn't want her to bake them just to have the kitchen staff have them for the customers. Duh. OK, it was tough from the start. The hostess seats us in the lounge area (not even ten steps from bar) and tells us our waitress will be with us shortly. We literally sat there for 10 minutes without ANYONE saying a word to us. FINALLY, the bartender asks us if she can get us a drink while we are waiting for waitress. Point for bartender. Waitress shows up, we tell her we ordered drinks from bartender, she retrieves them. Takes our app order. While we are waiting on app, waitress tells us she will take our dinner order and wait till we are almost done to put it in. Perfect. Well app is done, she cleans it off and tells us food will be out shortly. 15 min later she tells us as she is passing us "we are waiting on the chicken". First thing in my mind? Its gonna be dry. Food comes, I ask for a glass of water, other half asks for mustard (he got a burger). We start eating. And eating. And eating. I'm halfway done with my chicken sandwich, oh yes it was DRY, no water or mustard. In fact, haven't seen waitress since food was dropped off, I mean NO WHERE. I get up and ask bartender for ice water as I am now parched from the dry chicken. 5 min later waitress comes by with water, no mustard though. We don't bother asking as he has maybe 2 bites left of his burger. We get the check, actually 2 checks. I had a coupon. One check is before coupon so as she put it "what tip should be based on" and the other is post coupon Um, I waitressed and bartended for 15 years so I base my tip on the service NOT the cost of dinner and I'm a believer in tipping accordingly. Went last night, hadn't been in about a year and thought we'd try it. Many empty tables, yet we were put by kitchen swing door. Waiter made it clear to us he was very busy from minute we sat down. Ordered our drinks, then entrees each with salad bar, took the trek across the restaurant to the salad bar, when we returned we were asked by the overworked waiter if we wanted an appetizer- we of course said no at that point. My husband had steak, served to him with a slice down the middle, I guess that's how the cook checked to see if it was cooked to order my Parmesan chicken pasta's cheese had hardened obviously sitting while his steak cooked. We were never asked if everything was OK, never offered more to drink and we will NEVER go back. read more

H-o-r-r-i-b-l-e: bad quality old fashioned fare, slow and unfriendly service, not any regards towards food allergies, outdated 80's interior. I really can't see how they manage to remain in business. Had artichoke dip: all cream with very little small bits of spinach and artichoke. We found a french fry in our tortilla chips: see photo! Steak was traditional, so was my whifes salmon. Both overcooked and tasteless and probably previously frozen. When we asked about my whifes gluten allergy, we only got the answer: go online and find out for yourself on our website. However: no wifi available...we had the luck we have G4. No information from the waitress available by lack of training. When we got served our wine, our meal was long done. We refused it for that reason, this apparently to the discontent of our waitress. When we asked for the check, we got the answer that she first needed to get approval to waive the wine from the bill by her manager, which made us furious. Besides, the bartender HAD POORED THE WINE GLASSES IN THE BOTTLE!! SEE PHOTO!!!!! Just paid and left. Will never be back, plenty of better places out there. I really cannot say anything bad about this place. Was staying in a hotel in the area and although I normally try to go with smaller local places rather than chains, I have always wanted to try Ruby Tuesdays. Wow, the salad bar is exceptional, so fresh and so many choices. Had a ribeye steak and it was so tasty, vegetable were perfectly cooked and the macaroni and cheese is to die for, so creamy and cheesy. The garlic cheese biscuits are delicious. Ao good we went back later in the week we were staying there. Worth the trip. read more

The place has needed to be updated for a few years and has been a bit dirty and stinky, but recently the filth has gotten out of control. We kept going for a while... hoping that a cleaning crew would eventually go in to freshen the place up, but we won't be going back because of the filth. The wait staff is always friendly! read more

We were on vacation in Ft. Myers . I would have given 5 stars but....the hostess ( Jessie ) was rude. When we entered she went to seat us at a table, I asked her if a booth was available .. Her reply "NO THEY ARE DIRTY" I asked her if she would be able to clean one .....Her Reply " WELL YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT" I told her I wouldn't mind waiting. I got a dirty look. It took less then two minutes to wipe down the booth. Dinner was wonderful, waitress friendly. I just could not believe that they would have such a rude person as a hostess ...... I stopped it on a Wednesday night on a whim as it was the closest restaurant on my way home from a very harrowing day. I saddled up to the only empty seat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Terry the most astounding bartender I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Her upbeat personality and amazing ability to juggle 20 things at once made me wonder why I could never find an employee like that! As I am not a fan of fried food, I chose the chicken sandwich which arrived with very hot and tasty french fries and was perfectly juicy and well cooked. I do wish they would put less fried foods on the menu and grab a better wine list but that's not what you go to Ruby Tuesday's for. I was truly entertained by watching Terry work the bar, handle takeout orders, deliver meals and treat very difficult customers with the same respect and kindness as her regulars all the while maintaining a sense of humor. When I asked her how she did it all, she replied she had been there 16 years! That says a lot for both Ruby Tuesday and this amazing woman. I am only in the area for short time but will definitely go back there to see her in action once more and pass along some of her work ethic to those in my employ. read more

One of the few places left with a decent salad bar. Look for coupons and specials as there are deals to be found. The menu is extensive enough to keep you from getting bored soon. A good list of appetizers too. The full liquor bar is an asset. read more

The restaurant was clean and appealing. The food was pretty good. My chicken tenders were cooked well. The fries were tiny and hard. Unfortunate since I paid an extra dollar for cheese but didn't get to eat them. My mother's steak was cooked properly although the plate had grease floating in it. Their bread has a very odd taste that we didn't care for. The worst part was the server. He was very unfriendly and didn't seem to want to do anything for us. read more

I was pleasantly surprised! I had passed up this restaurant many times due to the fact that it is a chain. A friend of mine wanted to go there for a birthday lunch. Glad I agreed. My lobster mac was rich & full of lobster meat. My dining companion had the salmon which was moist and covered with a glaze that complimented the fish. Service was friendly and attentive. Surprisingly good experience for a chain! I had the bbq ribs with a side of mash cauliflower, which was totally enjoyable. The Sirloin/Coconut Shrimp was also exceptional, served with a tasty lime sauce. The salad bar offered numerous healthy (and some not so healthy, thank goodness!) choices. This is the first review that I have done. During our short vacation to Fort Myers Beach area we visited this restaurant 5 times in 3 days. I am a very fussy healthy eater and so impressed by this locations consistent service and preparation of food. I am a manager and was curious of how they pulled this off for 5-5 visits. I observed the Manager (Anthony) coaching two servers on team work briefly and a brief team meeting with whole staff. This I believe goes a long ways in driving consistency. It did not take long to have the staff recognizing us and making us a part of the family and atmosphere. This establishment is the best Ruby Tuesday I been on my travels and as close you will get to a local hot spot of patrons for a chain restaurant . Ordered to go chicken bella..not happy with it..I had ordered in Cape coral last week and was very impressed, had ordered mashed potatoes for both sides and the portion was perfect. .here in ft myers same thing and it was like 1 side..chicken was supposed to have artichokes but did not see 1..and the white sauce hardly any..the reason I went back to ruby tuesday was because I couldn't stop thinking of that amazing meal!!! My buddy and I just left Ruby Tuesday. He had a chicken and mushroom dish. After we left, within 15 minutes I had to pull over and my friend puked all over the side of the road. Dont know what it was, but something wasn't right about the food. Why did I go here? Seriously what a mistake this building should be torn down. First off my roommate ordered a Sam Adams Seasonal and the beer had a booger in it. A fucking beer booger!!!!! A chunk of booger like substance that is clogged in the line of the beer tap got in his drink and went into his mouth. Makes me wanna dry heave thinking about it. Ok I'm not done yet. I dunno why I ordered here it's like reaching into my freezer and microwaving food except I'm paying $12.99 for it. I went here late night so I dunno if they stop caring at a certain hour or if the standards lower during summer. Who trained the bartender because I have never watched anyone take a garden hose to bottles and just spray them down and say it's clean. Oh and the salad bar looked like it was out all day and I had to scrap off the top layer of old withered salad that wasn't exposed to the air all day. my husband and i enjoy dining at rt because the temperature is ambient. the noise level is perfect. the lighting is soft yet bright enough for good vision. the chicken breast is the best. the pork chops are cooked to perfection and there are many other entrees. the salad bar is by far the best. the dressings are made right there with fresh, healthy ingredients. the servers are accommodating. we are on our way now with our friends from ohio. read more

To say we were underwhelmed would be a vast understatement. We know chain restaurant dining isn't fine dining, but sure expected a lot better food and experience than we received. We ordered the children's pizza, the hickory bourbon salmon with dirty rice and salad bar, and the ribeye with mashed potatoes and tater tots. The pizza came out first and was oddly crispy on the bottom, but ice cold on the top and was clearly freeze and heat. We sent it back. The salad bar was the best part of our dinner, and with its flavorless potato salad, overly dressed pasta salad and canned fruit was not a great sign. When the entrees arrived, the ribeye was an odd, pale color and the tater tots looked like they had been sitting out all day. The ribeye was poorly cooked, lacked flavor and was full of gristle. The dirty rice and salmon both severely lacked seasoning, which was a shame since just a little salt on top of the glaze made the salmon have nice flavor. The salmon was so over cooked it was dry. Overall we felt the prices were too high for the value of what was received. read more

I went last night with my family, I been in another Ruby Tuesday's before.... was around 6:45-7pm. We opened the door and several people were sitting there waiting. The hostess ( I asked for her name because no one there have a name tag) Shayna..?No Good Evening... " nothing... "I do not how long will be"..so rude. My husband very polite ask her: how many people do you have waiting? and she count in a little piece of paper; 5 she said. My husband look at her and said maybe 15-20 minutes....and she said do you want to stay?? really... we stayed and guess what we only wait 5 minutes. They were having so many empty tables. Our server Krystal very nice girl tried her best but she was having a lot of tables, the beer were hot and was not bussers... the poor server was running like crazy. The food was good my meat was good and the flatbread with cheese and spinach were good. I do not know if we will go back...let's see. read more

Excellent salad bar, includes items that are fresh and frequently replenished. Goes beyond the usual boring iceberg and ceasar with surprises like edamame, sunflower seeds, mushrooms and other exceptional choices. Kudos for offering lots of fresh veggie sides, so you're not stuck with the same old fries, baked or mashed like other chains. They seem to be making a conscious effort to offer healthier food and it is much appreciated. The weekends-only steak and lobster combo was somewhat on the small side, but quite tasty, and the salad bar more than makes up for it. The staff couldn't have been nicer, frequently checking if everything was ok and the host at the entry even holding the door for me on the way out. A cut above the usual chains, it earns a spot among the best. read more

My wife and I stop here once a month or so for the salad bar and enjoy it very much. Tonight I ordered a hamburger. The burger was supposed to come with tomato, onion, lettuce and pickle plus fries. It tasted OK, but the tomato slice was about the size of a half dollar and it had two equally small raw onion "rings". C'mon, you can do better than that! read more

Four of us went to Ruby Tuesday's 06/05/15 for dinner. We were seated immediately since there were many available tables. Our water was slammed down in the center of the table and then our waitress, Mary B., argued that the coupon we had wouldn't work with just a salad although we were all ordering full entrees. She was loud and intimidating to the point that we were afraid to clarify that we wanted shrimp with the petite sirloin. She rushed by asking if all was fine but not pausing long enough to hear if we had any needs. When removing my husband's salad plate, she took his knife and set it on the shared serving plate for the biscuits. When the meal was over, Mary B. came to our table with dirty dishes from other customers and stacked all dirty dishes directly in front of my sister. In carrying them away she left a dirty glass from the other customer on our table. We pointed it out and she made excuses not an apology. Our food was tasty. We feel that Mary B. would be better suited waiting tables at a truck stop. She made us feel quite uncomfortable. I talked with the hostess and evening manager as we were leaving. Both were indifferent making no apology or comment of any kind. We were hoping someone who trains could have a quiet talk with Mary B. so other customers would not have to endure similar experience. read more

Took two of my employees to dinner as a reward for a long day of work. We were greeted promptly and seated quickly. That is about all that went right. It turned out the lady that seated us was also our waitress, but still took her several minutes to come back for a drink order. We were the only customers in the area we were seated, so I know she didn't have another table to take care of. We got our drinks and were almost done with them by the time she came back for the food order. We placed our order, I explained to her I had a food allergy so please make sure that the kitchen was aware of it. She assured me it was not a problem. When our food arrived two of the three meals arrived, the third meal arrived several minutes later. Once again we went in later in the night, I think there might have been three tables in the restaurant with customers at them. I started to fix my baked potato once we had all three meals and found my sour cream to have black specs in it. I told the others to go ahead and eat as I figured the waitress would be back to check on us in a few minutes. No such luck, my guests were halfway done with their meals before I asked someone sweeping the floors around us - yep sweeping the floors while we sat there eating - to get a manager please. The manager arrived I told him we still had not seen the waitress, then explained the reason I called him over. He saw the black spots in the sour cream, knew they were too small to have come from the pepper mill yet insinuated I had placed it there. I believe his exact words were I know how our sour cream is handled and refrigerated so it must be something someone at the table put in there. I explained I am worried it is mold or some form of cross contamination which since I have allergies is a problem. He once again assured me he knew how they handled their product so it must be something from the table. At that point I said just take the food and bring me my bill. The manager walked away, sent the waitress with my bill, they did remove my meal since I had not even taken a bite of it. I paid the bill the waitress apologized several times about the incident and said she had no idea why he handled us the way he did. I asked the waitress for the District Managers name and phone number, she said she would bring it out to me. The Manager brought it out instead and to say he was abrupt would be putting it kindly. I said thank you , he didn't even respond so I have to admit at that point my temper did get the better of me and told him I could not believe someone working a hospitality job could not say your welcome when a customer says thank you, regardless of the situation. At that point he said he didn't hear me, being as we were the only table in the area and he was talking to us, I can understand the noise level must have drowned me out. If you want good service and quality food I would suggest another Ruby Tuesdays or another restaurant because management at this one doesn't care about either. read more
