Ate here a month ago and it was amazing. Came in today and the service was slow and the burgers were very over cooked and tough. Server was absent for long periods, leaving our glasses empty. Had to use a lot of ketchup to be able to eat a "gourmet" burger. Very disappointed. Not worth the money. read more

The waiter was not the greatest. Everything was out when we got to order and couldn't get half the menu. Took 1 hour to get out food once ordered. We had a wonderful time here tonight. First time here but it will not be our last. We didn't realize it was National Cheeseburger day until we got there. We both enjoyed a free cheeseburger which was amazing. We also had the loaded tots appetizer. Simply fantastic! With the burgers I had fries that were very good and my wife had the Brussels sprouts and they were amazing. We sat at the bar because they were very busy. I had the fried brussell sprouts and the pimento cheese burger. The burger was thick & juicy and the brussel sprouts were to-die-for! They also offered a 10% military discount. We stopped into the Whirligig museum and my husband asked for restaurant recommendations. We're so glad the woman recommended Ruckus! The burgers are amazingly juicy and cooked perfectly. I built my own with swiss cheese and caramelized onions. So good! We split some seasoned fries that were sweet and spicy. And the gf bun stood up to all that juiciness. I highly recommend the ginger lime seltzer. Refreshing! My husband loved the pork rinds that came with the pimento cheese appetizer. He insisted on taking the leftovers home. Have been to Ruckus several times And the food is bland every time. No matter how you order the burger, it's going to arrive well-done...every time. The cooks know nothing about cooking for proper flavor. Every item is over cooked. The fries are dry and the only taste is salt. Was there last night had a party of six and service was very slow. Food in the past was okay but last night the food was terrible and took 45 minutes to be delivered. I ordered a medium cooked burger and it came out burnt. Had to use a condiment to moisturize it. Another in our party didn't get a bun with their chicken sandwich. I was traveling through Wilson and staying in a generic motel and was trying to find a place for dinner. I almost ended up in a chain restaurant but sat in the parking lot checking Yelp for something/anything more local and fun, and i found it!! Their burgers and drinks were amazing. All at a reasonable price too! I didn't love their seasoned fries but that was just a personal preference. They tased like they had lays bbq chip seasoning. Can't tell if the food is any good, I've been waiting over 40 minutes for my lunch and the rush has already cleared out. (Written before I received my food and updated now once I've eaten and left) after waiting 45 minutes for our food, party of 3, two chicken sandwiches and a burger, during that long length of time no wait staff came to provide any update or refill any of our drinks, (iced teas). You can easily find a cheaper, quicker and tastier burger locally in Wilson, don't waste your time here for the "aesthetic" "ambiance" or any of that. I can't speak for their drinks though, perhaps the bad service is worth It for the cocktails. I also watched 3 children tip back and fall in their hipster chairs, which are very uncomfortable for anyone with a larger than size 8 behind. I went to Ruckus and Redemption in a party of 8 on a Saturday night. The staff is top notch. Very friendly, accommodating and customer focused. The burgers are really good. They are small for the around $10 price tag, about the size of a whopper Jr, and they don't come with any sides, there is an extra charge for that. You can easily end up with a $30 tab for a hamburger meal and a beer. If you don't want a hamburger you are pretty much out of luck. There is a veggie burger but no grilled chicken or other choice. The beer selection is very good. The ambiance inside is brightly lit, more like a fast food or cafeteria restaurant. I expected a more sophisticated interior and this one does nothing to justify the prices. If you have a drink, ask the price. They are not published. My draft beer was really good at $8 for a pint but more than anywhere else in Wilson. When our bills came there was some shock and awe. One member of our party had Woodford Reserve, one shot, on ice. He was charged $32. Woodford is a mediocre bourbon and you can buy a fifth for $34. He complained to the server who said that's what they charge. The charge for his drink really offended me and it is the difference between a 4 star and a 3 star review and the only reason I won't go back. Any reasonable customer who has eaten out and ordered drinks in a restaurant before would have reasonably expected that drink to be in the $8 to $12 range, not $32. It's something they think they can get away with, and they do. read more
