This place use to be a good spot to go and dance and even have events at until you see how the owner treats people. He's rude to people and the bar overcharges on all the drinks. They charge different prices for drinks. Your $30 bucket will be $46-$49 dollars depending on the bartender that is serving you. The drinks are over priced for cheap liquor. The owner doesn't care if you have a complain he will simply tell you it's too bad and if you don't like it don't come back. The owner has done everyone wrong and he acts like he's the victim wtf he needs to humble himself a little. We are definitely never going back to Rudy's unless there's a new owner that knows how to treat people with respect. I was there with a few friends, and we take turns ordering drinks and covering each other's tabs. My friend ordered a Jameson Ginger Ale, while I chose RumChata & Hennessy, and she ended up paying $41 for both, plus a tip. We decided to go for a second round of just RumChata & Hennessy, and we were charged $30 for a single drink. I still left her a tip; it didn't make sense. I spoke with the owner about the issue, but the bartender came over to argue with me instead of resolving it. I approached the owner again, and he said, "I'll talk to her." I never complained about the drink's price; I was simply asking why there was a discrepancy in the charges, yet nothing was resolved. No worries I just won't order a drink from this place again. The owner should have addressed the issue the first time but chose not to. Ladies and gentlemen, please be mindful of what you're ordering and who you're ordering from, as you might be overcharged differently by each bartender. That kind of behavior doesn't warrant a tip. Otherwise, the atmosphere and music are enjoyable; I have no issues with anyone else, just the bartenders and the owner not providing a solution beyond "I'll talk to her," which never occurred. We came by to support the Jessie Munoz memorial fund show on Sunday. It was a good turnout of metal bands and they also offered free buffet for the event. The inside bar has televisions to watch live sports. The drink prices are reasonable and the service was very good too. The bands played outside in the patio area which had sufficient space for both the band members and the fans. read more

I'm always looking for places where I feel welcomes and right at home, and this place is it. It has a friendly neighborly "Cheers" vibe where everybody knows your name. It might be intimidating to some because this is. It your average bar, but if you come regularly, you'll feel right at home in no time and will find yourself always wanting to come back. Yes, there's delicious food, but the drinks are what does it for me and the cook atmosphere. Currently they are out doors, with good DJ music. Good music, I come for the entertainment and DJs. They are fun and keep the vibe doing. I wouldn't come without my husband though. I may have given Rudy's more stars based on this BUT Two things that need to be addressed: the restrooms-yuck! You are taking a chance and they are dirty as all heck. Lots of eye rolling and dismissive of my orders. I would've ordered more if I didn't feel like such a burden on the worker. When I ordered my drink, she rolled her eyes and went to other customers. She brought my boyfriend's drink but did not bring mine. She also tipped herself without asking me first. I always tip at the end of the night. I had to ask the other woman working the bar to check the register. The register was not short or above but our change was which lead the waitress helping us to recognize that our original waitress took our change for herself. Went there for a birthday party and the bar was dead and there were 2 servers that weren't very good at coming around, I don't know what type of crowd the owner is looking for but he's not doing well at attracting new customers. Used to go there when it was called Love/Hate and it used to be good and now not so much. Drink prices are over priced , $10.00 for an import draft (Modelo). For anyone planning or thinking of renting their outside Patio... DON'T! My grandmothers funeral was on Thursday and this was the place that certain family members decided to reserve for a family lunch/dinner that my grandma wanted us to have. From having no parking of it's own to the disgusting tasteless food they served for the buffet style setting the place is basically a waste of money. I understand fajitas have vegetables but this place definitely over does it in the veggies they had including me pulling basically half a tomato from the fajitas. Both the beef and chicken had 0 seasoning and what makes it worse is when asked if they had salt & pepper they had no idea if they had salt but said they didn't have pepper at all. You'd figure for a place that cooks food they'd have pepper, a basic seasoning anyone would have or use, well they don't have pepper. I didn't even eat much of the food I served myself from how bad it tasted and even then my stomach was feeling the regret of even eating the little I did.
