    Ham and cheese croissant

We had a wonderful coffee and small breakfast here while in town. The person at the counter was kind and helpful! We loved the ambiance, vibe and and decor here- super cute! We got vanilla lattes which were tasty and made well. The cherry almond scone was delicious as was the ham and cheese croissant. A perfect cafe for breakfast!

    Capri Sandwich

Came here for a quick lunch. I was disappointed they were out of some of the sandwiches- there were only two choices left. I ended up ordering the Capri sandwich (french baguette with mozzarella, tomato, and pesto). I'm not the biggest fan of cold sandwiches, but this was still tasty. The interior is very cute. I was tempted to buy one of their yellow-striped tote bags. Service was fast. There are small water cups available on a table adjacent to the main seating area.

I love this cafe! While relatively new on the scene in Damariscotta it has become a popular staple for breakfast or a delicious pastry and coffee on the go. The bread (especially the Japanese milk bread) is crazy good so you must grab some if you see a loaf. You will not be disappointed. Friendly staff and a very serene atmosphere, I highly recommend Rue 77!

Pastries are good, there is not enough filling in the items that have them. And for the price we pay they should have more filling.

It has made our summer to have this convenient location with top quality food. The owners and their daughter go above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. Even the non-gluten foods are mediocre at best. Total waste of money and barely edible. I can't help but wonder who is writing these 4 & 5 stars reviews‼ I do know for a fact that a negative review has been taken down because there was one here a week ago that's no longer here. Can't help but wonder about others...The food is atrocious yet 4 stars?? I'm a long time (30 year) gluten free person, not by choice. Back 30 years ago I was making my own gf baked goods, but the chemistry was early stages so most recipes didn't hit the mark. GF baking has come a LONG way since then, however not at this place--still dry and overly sweet, or wet and undercooked--most items barely resemble their description. To add insult to the injury of the expensive and surprisingly bad food, staff is unwelcoming and quite rude right out of the gate. Do yourself a favor--go to Wild Flour Bakery in Brunswick for FABULOUS GF baked goods. Or, if you're in Portland hit up Holy Donut for gluten free donuts that are actual donuts! YUM. Both are worth the drive!

I don't have the exact hours but you might want to check because I've been there when they're closed. I do know they open at seven and on the weekend, you wanna get there early because they do sell out of things. All their pastries are killer. Today bought a blueberry muffin, a maple cinnamon roll and the special of the day, which I don't know the name of, but it was a biscuit with clotted cream and homemade raspberry jam made out of the owners garden. It was scrumptious. It is also a little store and you can buy all kinds of cute things in there, there is an area to eat both inside and outside, but I am only talking of three or four tables in each location. They also make coffee drinks and they also have croissants with eggs and bacon. Have not had one of those in years so I can't really comment on that. Anyway, well worth a little side trip to this darling bakery.

Every place has a story. It's nice when you meet someone willing to chat for a while. They have the best looking baked goods too!! The outdoor eating steals inviting--they've even prepared for your furry friends with water bowls and a doggie bed.

Right next door (connected on the inside) is a seating area for eating in, where they also serve gelato and coffees. This place is a gem. I wish it was a little closer to my home, but now that I know about it, I will stop in every time I go to or through Bath. We tried several items, ate some there, and brought some home. We tried the pizza, a veggie frittata, and 3 Cornetti which is an Italian version of croissants, slight denser, just as flakey, just a buttery, maybe even more delicious. We tried the almond, the raspberry and the chocolate...all were incredible. They also have a nice selection of bottled Italian soft drinks. I tried the rose water. The fragrance and flavor of rose was amazing. Will definitely be back.

I just wanted to try everything because not only was it presented beautifully, it was baked with love and that is very evident. Start your day with any variety of bread, lunch is covered there as well, and make sure you make it by 7pm for a delicious gelato for desert. Why the 4-star after all this gushing? Their espresso is inexcusably bad for having such a high bar for everything else they're doing here. Clean that up, and this place goes from being really good, to untouchable.
