I can attest that their feta and roast vegetable wrap with mixed salad leaves and tortilla chips on the side is first rate, that the service is prompt and friendly and that their prices are very reasonable. Good God what an awful place - the staff can't even be bothered to clear the tables, and the chairs always have crumbs on them. As if it couldn't get any worse it's often packed with the screaming, snotty nosed offspring of uber-annoying, air-headed yuppies. Who in their right mind thinks places like these are nice? I'll tell you - chavs with more money than sense, mugs who take style over substance, and thick fashion-victims who treat bill-board adverts as their bible. I only ever go here if I'm in a group and don't fancy going through the 101 reasons why I can't stand these overpriced, poor quality chain cafes. If you like Starbucks then visit this vile dump, if you don't then go somewhere that serves decent food and drink at a decent price. I'll pay for quality - in fact I take great pleasure in doing so - and that's why I avoid this scumhole like the plague.

my first experience of visiting costa coffee in market harborough was bad. i visited this shop…read moreearlier on in the year and bought two coffee's and one cake. the chocolate cake i was sharing with my son tasted funny a petrol like taste. i took it back to the counter where i was given a refund for the cake immediately. on trying out the remainder of the cake at the counter, the assistant who tried it felt ill. for the rest of the day both myself and my son (aged 6) had a blinding head ache and felt sick. it has put me off going back there again

We were warmly welcomed by a friendly staff member who promptly sat us down as we had walked in without booking. The three of us chose mains only, as we'd just had a coffee and cake, and how filling they were! My Aunty and I had Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, which was made using a brioche bun with fresh salad and succulently cooked steak strips. My uncle had smoked haddock risotto which smelled like the ocean as it arrived. The refreshing mint lemonade we all chose to drink had a sharp, tangy and different twist to the original beverage. Although no one finished it as chopped mint leaves were constantly being sucked up the straw, making us pick them out throughout the meal. Perhaps, we will try the other lemonade ranges they had, with less herbal blades. Overall, extremely satisfied and when we go again, we are definitely going for the pizzas!
